"We had been recommended this place (amongst others) by the owner of the apartment we were renting locally. The setting is beautiful and relaxed. You eat outside on a terrace (covered or open completely to the elements) amongst the olive trees. Our teenage kids wandered...off to explore after ordering and were found chilling in a hammock slung between the trees. There are fairy lights and lots of lanterns everywhere that add to the magical atmosphere of the place. Don't go though if you get irritated by kids eating in restaurants. There were many Italian families eating here with their young kids and lots of children running around amongst the trees. But, whereas anywhere else I might find this annoying, in this setting, it was charming! Our waitress could not speak a word of English but was absolutely delightful patient and attentive. The food was of a very good standard. All local, traditional dishes, but not a huge choice for vegetarians. Wine was excellent too. This is not a cheap night out. We paid over 200 Euros for four, although we all had three courses plus wine. But it was well worth it for a special night and is considered by the whole family as one of the highlights of our Tuscany holiday."

A very pleasant stay. Very good service, tasteful food, a very good variety of wines. Having dinner in the middle of the olive trees was a beautiful experience. And the enoteca was great as well.

Nice quiet location in the middle of olive trees. Horrible service, unfriendly and unprofessional. Under the average the food: we would expect great meat in this area but unfortunately we had not. Extremely expensive for the standard!

Posto favoloso, tranquillo, lontano dalla strada, circondato da bellissimi alberi di ulivi. Meravigliosa osteria immersa nella campagna in uliveto maestoso a due passi da Bolgheri. I locali sono curati e ristrutturati in maniera naturale di recente. Nella sala c'è un camino centrale magnifico. La cucina è quella tipica locale ben fatta, vi consiglio la carne è ottima. Una serata magica. Il personale gentile e simpatico. Il servizio veloce

Il primo punto di forza è sicuramente la location: si pranza in una bellissima struttura immersa tra gli ulivi!! Segue il cibo di altissima qualità (noi abbiamo provato ragù di chianina, tagliata di controfiletto, torta al cioccolato e cheese cake con frutta). Chiude un servizio impeccabile, veramente ben curato nei dettagli. Il prezzo resta però un po' altino. Nel complesso molto molto bene.
