"What a location!! Underneath a stone arch opening out into a small village piazza and harbour with ducks and a swan too. Parking is right outside on the street . The osteria has outside covered seating but as it was a cool evening we chose to sit inside. There were around eight tables and all the covid safety measures had been put into place without being obvious or intrusive. The menu was available in Italian and German so we did our best to translate. Fortunately the waitress was on hand and able to answer our questions. There was a good selection of local dishes supported by an excellent specials board. We chose the mixed meat grill and grilled prawns with mixed salad and potatoes. Our drinks were served promptly with excellent wholemeal bread, good quality balsamic and olive oil. The salad was large and we'll presented and the potatoes roasted but not oily. I had six very large prawns perfectly cooked and very tasty. My husband's meat dish had chicken pork and lamb individually cooked so full of flavour. We completely cleared our plates the food was excellent, the service unobtrusive and friendly and we left completely satisfied ."

We found this restaurant thanks to other contributions in TripAdvisor. We spent a very nice lunch.. Food was fresh, home made, and really tasty.

Abbiamo pranzato con cibo e vino davvero buoni, spaghettone con bottarga di tonno consigliatissimo, il nostro boxer Jack è stato ben accolto! Un grande grazie! Torneremo senz'altro!

Servizio super cordiale. Ambiente del lago bello di natura. Coperto 2 euro a mio modesto parere accettabile visto la qualità dell olio e del pane. 8,5 per le verdure grigliate davvero eccessivo,sia come prezzo che come quantitativo. Avremo sbagliato noi a non leggere da menù. Ver carta

We dined in as the evenings are getting colder. The room is very small and undistinguished. The waitress seemed pulled in too many directions at once, so service was slow. She asked us to order wine before giving us the wine list; I wondered if she was trying to sell us something expensive without us realising ? Food was good, but not exceptional, and priced quite high. A disappointment

Siamo capitati per puro caso in questo ristorante, fuori orario, quando ormai non avevamo più alcuna speranza di cenare: una splendida sorpresa! Pesce freschissimo e una cura delle materie prime veramente eccellente. Il giorno dopo siamo tornati e l'esperienza ha confermato la prima impressione, con un polpo in due cotture alla paprika affumicata che svetta tra i migliori piatti che abbia mai mangiato. Una nota simpatica: il personale ha organizzato una piccola sorpresa al momento del dessert per festeggiare il mio compleanno, un gesto veramente gentile e graditissimo. Questi ragazzi hanno un bel futuro davanti. Se torneremo in zona non mancheremo di fare ritorno.
