"We visited Bagno Vignoni (a small, pretty pit stop) and had read this small store offered amazing cold lunches, so in we went! It sells local salumi, cheeses and vegetable sides, and there is a pretty garden to the side where you can eat. We...asked the lady in the store to choose some salumi and cheese for us, and then we picked some sides (aubergine, courgettes, sundries tomatoes, sweet garlic, artichoke, etc) to go with them. We also had some lovely, crusty bread. It was the most delicious lunch we had in Tuscany. I’m regretting not buying the truffle salami to take back with us! Hugely recommended for a casual, super tasty lunch."

"because I can't respond to it: on the ethics of coca cola is not a right place to discuss. and that it is nice to sell local products, we all agree even if I do not remember that it was local, maybe Italian, but still full of sugar cane of origin not given to know, a beautiful mirror for allodoles in short. beyond that, I would have preferred that I had been told that we also have it. and we won't. I'm sure I would have chosen the same local product. but say that you don't have it and serve it at the table after, come later, in my opinion it's not a good gesture. We asked for four coca cola and they told us not to have it to put on a sweet Italian cola. the customers arrived immediately after us instead brought bottles of coca cola. I think it's not fair. could propose the Italian cola as an alternative, but say not to have it to push on a different product is not right. I should have refunded it."

"We were probably unlucky! We had dinner in the restaurant as we were staying in the hotel. The thing that bothered me the most was the service; they accompanied us to the table, bringing us the menu and asking us if we wanted some water, after which the waitress completely abandoned us, without even bringing the ordered water (we had to wait 20 minutes before having the water and requesting it 3 times before to have her at the table). We were brought the chef 's welcome dish, without having received either water or bread. After half an hour of sitting at the table they ask us to order. I don 't even want to comment on the food, I 'm just saying that the cut they brought me was seasoned raw with plenty of garlic powder, furthermore I wasn 't even brought any seasoning to be able to dress the side salad. Probably as anticipated, we caught a No night at the club, the fact is that when they present you with a bill of more than €100, you don 't like being treated like that."

"Dinner in the small village of Bagno Vignoni, we find a small coffee table in this restaurant and we went out absolutely satisfied both for the goodness of the food and for the absolutely honest price. The tagliatelle with good and tasty ragù, excellent the carpaccio of chianina, melted literally in the mouth and was a plentiful and substantial dish while being an appetizer; delicious the fillet of cinta, tender and soft, accompanied by mustard sauce that fortunately (compliments to the cook) did not cover the taste of meat. With water and coffee we spent less than 50 euros, quality price ratio the best found in Val d'Orcia, and the fact that there were many people of the place confirms it."
