Abbiamo mangiato la polenta con il cinghiale, pinci con il tartufo fresco, pinci all'aglione ....consiglio vivamente, da provare assolutamente, tutto molto buono!!

Servizio veloce e cortese. Porzioni nella norma, se si ha una discreta fame consiglio di ordinare sia il primo che il secondo. Un plauso particolare ai fagioli all’uccelletta perché sono qualcosa di speciale

Un locale molto bello all'interno sempre pieno. Noi siamo arrivati alle due e c'era un solo tavolo libero. Ho mangiato otttimi pici al ragu che mi hanno soddisfatto pienamente sia per quaità che per quantità Ver carta

personale, cordiale e disponibile, classico osteria toscana, con salumi e formaggi ben assortiti. piccola mancanza, ma a mio parere, fondamentale, sul bicchiere di vino, è indicata annata e cantina di origine. Bene.

locale nel centro del montalcino. semplicità e godere di punti di forza. Menù tradizionale e gotico. piccolo sacchetto nel dolce, la zuppa inglese non era tale essere il biscotto all'interno bagnato con caffè e non con gli alchemi.

Ottima osteria a due passi dalla fortezza di montalcino. Propone piatti semplice della tradizione, fatti Bene. Antipasto di salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità. Pici al tartufo, fatti a mano veramente buonissimi. Fegato con cipolle buone e porzione abbondante. Panna cotta al pistacchio (se ci fosse stata messa una bacca di vaniglia sarebbe stata perfetta), buona. Ottima scelta dei vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Da provare Ver carta

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and recommendations; however, we were disappointed from the start. The staff seems to be irritated when we arrived and the service didn’t improve throughout our visit. The food was average at best and not up to the standard of other restaurants in Montalcino and the surrounding areas. The restaurant was busy so maybe we caught them on a bad day but overall the restaurant left a bad impression.

We are an Italian family of four originally from Val d'Orcia (this area). Having bought a small property nearby, we decided to visit all the restaurants in Montalcino (and a few nearby) to choose our favorites. One of us has dietary restrictions, basically eating only fish or vegetables. Therefore we did not go to places that did not have at least one suitable option. We visited for lunch based on the recommendation from Riccardo at Le Ragnaie winery. We arrived just in time (12:30) to get a table. The place quickly filled up, alot of customers being locals, which is always a good sign. Our server, Thomaso, was good. We ordered some cheeses and salami as an appetizer and then ordered our lunch. I ordered the Roast Rabbit with a garden salad which was delicious. Others ordered the Polenta with Meat Sauce, the Vegetable Flan and Oven Baked Vegetables and the Pasta Ragu Bianco. All of the dishes were very good, although the Oven Baked Vegetables were quite a bit overcooked. Overall, a nice lunch in a good location in downtown Montalcino. Would definitely vis... Ver carta
