excellent service, very professional and very friendly. that was all unsuccessful. fantastic fish in salt crust and chocolate cake with zabayone. I'd like to go back.

it deserves a visit. great eating with amazing aromen and fantastic service, personal attention of prisco and his team. conveniently located. very interesting history in this restaurant.

We gave this place a try as it was close to our hotel and we were craving Italian food. Overall the food was good. Nothing fancy. We ate there twice on our visit to Munich enjoying our meal each time. Give it a try.

I had a lovely time catching up with an old friend at this charming restaurant. The service was wonderful and the food top notch. I enjoyed sitting in the patio area, which was much more lively than the indoor seating.

Best Italian of Munich. Although relatively expensive, but worth every cent! The menu "Special Requests" is especially recommended if desired. Largest wine map in Munich. Super ambience and interesting people. The cellar can be rented separately for up to 20 persons,

Unpleasant German service wrapped in a fake Roman-trattoria style that can only fool silly customers with waiters attempting at charming female guests and spilling wine as they roughly and unpleasantly serve it. Food is less than banal for very expensive and unjustified prices. A snob...spot where undiscerning gastronome-to-be want to be seen...

Simply embarrassing. I ordered sautéed mussels as a starter and sea bass with grilled veggies as main course. Had 7 mussels, which were so covered in garlic that you could barely taste anything else but then had to spit 2 out because they tasted rotten....The sea bass was raw. And to mess up sea bass in the oven is quite tough. Never again and not recommended at all.

I wanted to go to dinner with a good friend and we drove past Osteria. We thought we'd be a normal Italian, we want pasta. It didn't look great either. The waiter asked us if we wanted to sit outside or inside, because it was warm, we decided outside. We followed him in the kitchen, through the kitchen and thought where the hell are we going now?! Until we got into a totally sweet covered backyard where you had the impression that you really sit in the middle of Italy! In one corner was even a really beautiful pavilion with columns and plants under which you could sit. Really sweet! We got the card, and then it was so easy for us to get the backup when we saw the prices: a normal noodle dish...

I wanted an Italian restauant in Munich( yes, heresy! . I discovered the Osteria Italiana. This is actually the oldest Italian restaurant in all Germany, going back to 1890, and very little changed at all since then! It's greatest claim to fame is that it was...Adolf Hitler's favourite restaurant ! Being a student of history, this fascinated me! The restaurant has two or three rooms, and a pleasant garden with tables in the centre. After chatting in Italian to Prisco, the charming and delightful owner, he showed us to a quiet room with around 5 tables in(front door visible and he sat me at Hitler's table in his seat!
