"I have already been twice to Osteria Maria, first time I was invited by my friends, the second time I invited my friends so that they could also have the experience of an evening where you can have a great party with your friends without having to care what happens when the beer or wine has ended.As I came into the restaurant my first impression was of a place where the owners actually care about each and every small detail. When it comes to the atmosphere, you can always look around and see something interesting around, be it the hanging ham, wine bottles, beautiful paintings or even the ceiling decoration.The team is very young, so the place doesn't have this starchy appeal, wine bottles appear out of nowhere, I didn't even see a single empty bottle on my table. The singer guy has a great voice (never heard a voice like this before, even on concerts), although it gets a bit too loud when he sings directly into your ear.Overall, very friendly atmosphere where you don't feel out of place, just like another home where you also get to have a great dinner.It is important: you cannot choose what you get during the evening, it is a predefined menu, but it is worth it to at least try everything that comes to the table. You won't end up unsatisfied anyway. Be careful when eating those grapes in grappa - they contain more alcohol than they taste like.If you plan to visit the restaurant, don't forget to reserve the table, staff seems to insist on reserving the table."

I had in Osteria Maria most enjoyable evening(and a half of the night) out of 4 days in Berlin. It was like visiting a good old friend, who actually can cook. Amazingly tasty italian food. Excellent entourage. None is left unhappy or hungry!

I spent a most execelant evening with friends in this very Romantik reastuarant. Beautifull food fantastic staff the best atmosphere i ever experienced in a reastuarant ever. Live music real Italien very fairly priced considering if you wanted you can get free drink all night . The boss was also there with his wife what a lovely family. Will be back Ver carta

Good friends of mine choose to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary in Osteria Maria, a great idea. About 50 of us sat in this beautiful room which is difficult to describe and suited the good food, wine and grappa but be careful of the grapes served at the end of the evening. These things soaked in Brandy finished me off. Can recommend it to anyone, not cheap but quality never is !!!!!!!!!!

Huge Italian restaurant in the middle of a residential area. If you do not know it, you never pass by by chance... It is all old style "Ritteressen" like inside. The food is ok-ish but not great. Especially when you compare what you get in Italy. But then it is rather cheap and you might be lucky (or not...) and an Italian singer is playing live best of Ramazzotti and Celentano. After the 3rd glass of wine you will get into it and have fun;-)
