One of the best restaurants in Venice. High class and quality food and drinks at a great price. Isabella the owner is charming, funny and very attentive, will adapt any dishes to your taste or to avoid allergies.

The food here is so to die for good. It’s true about the fried zucchini incredible. Super cute atmosphere and great staff. Has the crepes and then creme brûlé for desert. Would definitely return the next time I’m in Venice.

though filled with tourist, the place feels very local. probably because it is in a not too busy road. great service, at least from the dame that seems to be the boss. but the most important is always food and eating is great. zucchini lasagna tiramisu I would definitely come back.

the best place we wanted to eat in venice. great, quick and friendly service. but more important, delicious food. every court was incredible. many places were hit or miss that was a hit for everything. for what they're paying, we'll be worth the money. we look forward to coming back.

En mai 2019, nous avons découvert cet excellent restaurant. il est rapidement devenu un must pour nous. Tout est parfait. la réception est à la fois chaude et professionnelle, les plats sont tous aussi savoureux que l'autre et le vin est un nectar. cette fois nous y sommes allés deux fois en moins de 10 jours et les deux fois étaient des moments de pur bonheur. the best meal we had so far in venice. the sea bass, grilled vegetables and filled zucchini blossoms were all great. we had the h pass wine, which was also good, and the meal came with a large broth basket. the team was friendly and helpful. the atmosphere was the best part with a charming and quiet interieur, that was such a welcome break from the crowded streets of venedig.

Oliva de Nera is truly one of the best restaurants in Venezia, we have been here for 8 days and have had dinner here twice as the food here is always fresh, perfectly prepared and so much better than 90 of the restaurants closer to St Marks square and there is variety and preparation that you won’t find at all the ones that mainly serve pizza pasta. The fish is FRESH and the zucchini flowers are to die for. ENJOY

this restaurant was suggested by a Venetian friend as a family, local food. we were very impressed by our meal and the aromen. we had the delicious fried zucchini flowers filled with ricotta and cheese, their signature appetizer, and the wonderfully juicy marinated sardines with whistle, rusty and pine kernels. I had a genpatcho suppe that tasted like summer harvest! the fried mixed fish were so many different types of lagoon fish and garnelen served with lemon and mayonnaise. yummy! try it yourself!
