"Giving it 1 because I cannot give 0. Firstly, we received free Prosecco before dinner which was nice and tasty. Additionally the lasagna tasted very good. But that’s where the good ends. The service was extremely slow for us to order we were sitting for about 40 minutes before someone took it. We had a train to catch and couldn’t wait forever so after 30 minutes of waiting I asked a waiter if he could take our order. He was very rude and told me “no I am dealing with another table right now”. Then I heard him tell the table behind us “thank you for waiting, some customers are very impatient”. 10 minutes later someone takes our order and the food arrives very quickly. Although the lasagna was delicious, the porcini tagliatelle was awful. Not only was the pasta nowhere near as good as it was in other restaurants (especially in Bologna) but the mushrooms used were canned, and mushy no colour or flavour on them other than dirt. The dish was not pleasant. Nobody around us had finished their pasta which shows none of the pasta dishes were good. We then had dessert which was a chocolate soufflé. However this is false advertising as this was nowhere near what a chocolate soufflé actually should be like. It was a chocolate cake not even a lava one where the chocolate pours out. It did not have the texture or the taste of a soufflé and the cake had also collapsed on itself which the kitchen covered up with some whipped cream. Do not come here instead go to Giannino in San Lorenzo. Not sure how this restaurant has such a high rating but it was very disappointing and the staff were extremely rude."

the restaurant was over the street from where we stay. it was a place with great food and service. would definitely go back if in a florence.

A nice small restaurant in a quiet-ish side street. Very friendly service and excellent pasta. The tiramisu was also delicious. Good value for money.

We love this restaurant for its authentic cuisine and warm atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally attentive and kind. We've dined with family, friends and colleagues and celebrated special occasions. Each time, our experience is excellent!

Ho ordinato la gelatina di pomodoro e i fagioli di cannella con buon olio.. Molto bene entrambi! Per il mio bambino di spaghetti con zucchine (su menu) e patate al forno. Disponibile per veganizzare i piatti o soddisfare i vostri gusti. Personale molto gentile

I made the mistake to order the steak which honestly may have been the worst steak I have ever had in what is considered a good restaurant. The steak was cooked well,the way I wanted it but the steak was very tuff. My wife ordered the stewed wild boar and it was excellent. The owner was apologetic and offered me more food which I declined. I was charged in full and wrote it off to a bad experience.
