"very touristic place! Similarly the director of the room prepared and very kind. absence of glass water bottles and especially from liter. the oo and the positioning on the half liter bottle table is very uncomfortable. pizza was made with a soft and well-leavened pasta. at the end of the dinner is not heavy on the stomach. dressing tending to form. improve the quality of dressing, you would definitely bring the rating to a five star. Moreover, it is very impressed by the cooking in the electric oven, bringing the base of the pasta to an excessive freshness, almost difficult to cut. in total the result was however positive."

"excellent beer, blonde, red, double malt. for all the gooses! burgers have excellent raw materials, new combinations for original sandwiches. This room has a very nice interior room but also offers the possibility to dine outside because it has tables on the staircase. nice staff. a few steps from Piazza Sant'oronzo, not far from the frastuono of the streets of the center. recommended recommended"

"not worthy of michelin star or michelin review. I have the tasting menu service was good, but not unforgettable. food is like initial, but lack of substance and lack of performance. it is not worth their time or effort. Even the setting is not great. the thing that made it worse, was the situation in the toilet at leaving. toilet dirty and it was clear, not cleaned in a time. a sign of this place doesn't make much effort. this dirt was from at least the night before when I was there for lunch and the place was empty at that time. that is something that should automatically remove any star or mention. eating is not delicious. I will pay a high price for special foods and special experience, but they will not find either here so best to try somewhere else. when they become famous, there is too much risk for quality. sad!"

"My wife and I recently purchased a hone in the beautiful city of Ostuni, a beautiful city with beautiful streets beautiful people and beautiful food. I made my first trip to Il Posto Affianco about five months ago with a couple of wonderful local friends from this area for what they said was the best pizza in the area, which I’m pleased to say they were right, the crust is perfect, crispy and golden the dough is excellent and the toppings are great quality and everything is seasoned perfectly. Last night, we struggled to find a place to eat, being that it was our last night before leaving our little city for a few months, and we decided to go back here but try something different on the menu. We again were not disappointed this may have been the best meal I have had this summer. We started with a couple of coctails, negroni and spritz both lovely and with our meal a bottle of their Attanasio Primitivo di manduria It's an absolutely perfect wine from a very impressive wine list. Our meal consisted of Crocchette di baccalà or Cod-fish croquettes served on homemade passion fruit cream and crusco sweet pepper. This was lovely, and I had to battle forva bite from my wife. It was a crispy and lovely soft, delicious center accented by the wonderful sauce. Next, the Frittura di calamari or fried calamari with homemade mayo made with capers and cucumber. This was excellent, and the caper cucumber sace was magical. My wife and I shared the Fettuccine dell’ubriacone or Drunken fettuccini, which is fettuccine cooked in red wine and sautéed with sausage and provola cheese and basil. You must get this it was amazing, so amazing that I used my bread to get every bit of the sauce off my plate.My main course was the Spiedo di bombette or skewers of fresh pork meat rolls usually stuffed with cheese salt and pepper, served with grilled eggplant, and mustard a very traditional dish for the area andvexpertly done perfectly seasoned with a crispy exterior and tender and juicy in the center this couldn’t have been made more perfect and I was stuffed from everythingbelse we ate but I ate every last bite of it . My wife had the Tagliata di manzo, or beef steak served with caciocavallo cheese, local rocket. Again, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned rare to medium rare and tender like cutting through butter. Now, the service we were greeted immediately and brought to not the greatest table, but in their defense, we picked it so not their fault. We were quickly greeted by a very nice waiter. Sorry, I didn’t get his name. I should have asked before leaving, but you know who you are. He was great and did a great wine service with a decanter that is a rarity, but he knew what he was doing. It soon began to pour rain, so he grabbed everything he could, saving most importantly our wine and ran us inside to a much better table luckily and then restored everything to normal so that was so nice and so well done. The rest of the staff who also helped with delivering food and clearing the table were excellent as well everything was brought to us in a timely manner hot and perfect and as we left we were warmly thanked for coming from everyone . I really loved this wonderful restaurant nestled in the labyrinth that are the streets of the old Town Ostuni, everything about it my only complaint is now I have to wait till I come back again in a few months . Until then, I will dream of what to get next time and relive my meal in my memories. Thank-you everyone ant Il Posto Affianco!! We will be back!"
