The full English breakfast was amazing. If you come before 11am, you'll receive a complimentary coffee, which is a great added perk.

We visited twice in the week as we discovered this place was on the way. Lovely restaurant with friendly staff, very clean and good facilities. Great food, I can highly recommend the rarebit and soya latte. Will definitely call here again if we are in the area.

Favourite, favourite stop off for breakfast when traveling past Penrith. Great location just as you enter Penrith. Ample parking. Lovely fresh and airy dinning area. Lots of brunch and breakfast choices on the menu. As always the food was fab and great service. Ver carta

Visited today 26/03/2023 with family, very busy but only had a short wait for a table. Great choice of meals using quality ingredients. Drinks came quickly and hot. Meals arrived in a few minutes. Top service, friendly and polite. 2 minutes from the M6. Will go again. Thanks to the staff !

We stopped here for lunch and were very impressed. There was a good choice of menu. I had the soup which came with a toasted cheese scone (delicious! and my husband had a bacon sandwich with a rosti. Very good service and very reasonably priced. We will definitely eat here again when we stop at Penrith.

We stopped by this restaurant for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. We had to wait for 10 minutes before getting a table, but it was worth it. The full English breakfast was delicious. We came here for lunch. The cafe is light and airy. The cafe is upstairs but there is a lift available. There is plenty free parking. The staff are friendly. There is a varied menu and the prices are reasonable. The food was ok but its been a while since we've visited and I was disappointed to see they've painted over the wall murals!

My wife and I visited this restaurant during a busy lunchtime, and she ordered the poached eggs on toast while I ordered the full English breakfast. Unfortunately, both of our meals had cold eggs. Additionally, we found the pricing of the poached eggs on the menu to be misleading and not accurately reflective of the quality. Overall, our experience was slightly disappointing.

Popped in here before doing some retail therapy downstairs, we were lucky to get the last table as a whole load of happy shoppers came in for coffee. We opted for Coffee (Large Cafetiere) Black Pudding and Haggis Special, Oswalds brunch with extra dry cured bacon. Everything came out perfectly, delicious black pudding and haggis eggs cooked just right and loads of bacon as an extra that we munched our way through.
