"The location is ok, the center of Bevagna city. The menu has several things. We order several things. The food and the wine are ok. BUT the condition were NOT ok at all. As you can see the are umbrella with light and those umbrella are full with insect and each time they were falling at table on my plate, my glass of water, my head, that dinner was the fastest diner I had in a restaurant. I explain to the waiteress the situation, she told me yes it's the wind, I said no it's the light. Maybe I will come back but not sitting under umbrellas."

Buonissimo l'antipasto degustazione e il tomino con miele e guanciale. Un po' deludenti gli gnocchi al Sagrantino che di solito sono eccezionali....

Delicious food, ate inside because it was an extremely hot day, pasta cacio e pepe was stupenda! Porchetta was amazing. Nice friendly waitress. Lots of Italians there, always a good sign.

After an enjoyable walk through the streets of the medieval town of Bevagna we came to Ottavius, a traditional restaurant offering local cuisine. We were seated in a quiet part of the restaurant and our order was quickly taken. We started with some delicious antipasti to share and restaurant's own label wine, and afterwards had the specialty dish, gnocchi al Sagrantino, which was very good and quite filling. Following that, some opted for dessert, while others just continued to enjoy more wine.
