Oystercatcher - Carta

Ugh... Terrible location, not in the trendy Cardiff Bay or Penarth Marina, but next to a Tesco... right by some overgrown land. The first thing you notice...

From the outside, The Oystercatcher appears to be just another typical British pub. However, it seems to put in a bit more effort than your average establishment...

This was my first time visiting this restaurant for a family gathering since the lockdown nearly a year ago. My sister arranged it because I haven't seen my dad in quite some time. Ver carta

the price-performance ratio was at the top. the personal was wonderful and friendly. beer garden on the promenade. Why didn't you do that? the breakfast was great. it is worth stopping a bite!

What a lovely place to dine! The staff here are excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious. It's worth the trip from Cardiff Bay to Embankment for their fantastic fish and chips. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the view is simply stunning.

A Hungry Horse in all its splendor, this restaurant is situated at the beautiful Penarth Marina. It was quite busy during my visit, but the staff were impressive, setting realistic expectations for wait times. Booked a table because of recommendations from friends. The staff were attentive even though the place was busy. After a short wait for food it was delivered with a welcoming smile. The food was, in my opinion, outstanding. It was well presented, hot and above all very tasty. I had a small issue that was of my making but sorted very quickly and efficiently by Simon. His efforts and helpful manner made our stay not just enjoyable but also memorable. Thankyou Oystercatcher for a wonderful evening.

Had a lovely meal with my family today. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful, from the manager who naturally has that 'nothing is a problem I 'm happy to help ' attitude to those bringing our food with a smile, all were faultless. The food was tasty and the portions very generous I won 't be eating again today! And when my niece asked if she could take the other half of her huge chicken sandwich home , they put it in a nice box for her which made her day. I will definitely be returning at some point. Thank you!

24th May 2022...Visited every Tuesday since January, which I think says, you wouldn’t go if you weren’t happy. We think that this...on a Tuesday for the big meal special at £7.50p is an excellent meal....always rating 10 out of 10 for the food and service. 25th January 2022...Probably been about 10 times since the 5th of November. Normally go every Tuesday and the pictures and review would be the same. Excellent service, love the New Yorker with sweet potato chips at £7.50p (Tuesday price). 5th November 2021...was passing on a Friday dinner time...so called in...as usual excellent. 3rd August 2021....excellent meal yet again, busy customer wise, and a very good service at an excellent price....
