Palace - Carta

There was hair in food, stale food, poor attitude of the owner!! Exceptionally slow service!! Stay hungry but don't eat here!!

The Food here was really nice... i had been there for lunch what i was surprised was that the cook / waiter was an all in one person.

Had a good meal here after a long day touring the city. Staff very helpful accommodated our GF friend without any difficulty well done a good choice Ver carta

Waited an hour to get my food which when you are travelling alone feels like three. I had work to do, so survived but not going back. Still waiting....

The food was very tasty, spicy (as we wanted) and the atmosphere was calm and nice for evening. The service was good and food was served in typical dishes.

Ein spontanes Abendessen ist im Palace of India immer möglich. Es gibt genügend Platz auch ohne Reservierung. Der Service ist wie immer nett und unaufdringlich. Tische sind sauber und gepflegt. Die Speisen kommen im perfekten Zeitrahmen und sind alle sehr schmackhaft. Preise sind gut. Die Portionen sind ausreichend es bleibt immer etwas über. Ein guter solider Inder. Ver carta

Oh so slow service, when service arrived it was pretty poor. Whilst we were a group of 20 the palaver to get each meal ordered was pure farce. Then the "long" wait, and when the first dishes turn up you think ok, but it must have taken 40 minutes for all the be served - so we thought! No one dish missing - by which time ... oh and Asian food is meant to have some spice, heat, flavour!! Must have all been on the missing plate. One to avoid.

Ich wohne seit vielen Jahren in der Stadtmitte von Frankfurt und jetzt wollte ich das Palace of India endlich ausprobieren. Wie ein Palace sieht es nicht aus, auch wenn Bilder von Maharadschas an den Wänden hängen. Eher etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Das Papadam und die Saucen waren gratis, dafür kostete die Mini-Portion Chicken Tikka Marsala 15,50 Euro. Für 4 Fleischstücke und etwas Reis auch für Frankfurt zu teuer. Der Geschmack war aber sehr gut. Es bessere und günstigere Inder hier in der Stadt. Das Palace of India scheint auf touristische Laufkundschaft ausgerichtet zu sein.

Quaint Indian restaurant in a small mall, walking distance from the Westin Grand. The staff, in particular the manager Bobby, were very welcoming and happy to talk with us and give us the history of the Palace and give us recommendations of where to visit during our stay. Bobby’s recommendations of what to order did not disappoint. We only fancied some starters to go with our drinks so Booby suggested the Prawn Tak a tak (best Prawn dish I have tasted in some time) and the Sharabi Kababi Chicken Tikka (the name says it all). Truly a very hospitalable and authentic food experience. Apologies we did not get to come back to see you Bobby, but the Palace will remain as one of the wonders of the... Ver carta
