Had a lovely lunch at Paolo's Italian Kitchen. The service was great and the food was very tasty. The overall atmosphere was good and the music wasn't too loud when we visited. I would definitely visit again. It's the only Italian restaurant in Borehamwood, so nice to have some variety in the area without travelling out of town! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Lovely restaurant, great atmosphere and superb food. It was our first visit and were very impressed from the moment we entered, great reception from the staff and very attentive. Sorry but I'm really not seeing it, how everyone seems to give this restaurant such high ratings! We went there for lunch on a Saturday. The food was a bit disappointing for me, the pasta was overcooked, the sauce somehow watery, the starters very average at best. The service was ok, the waiter serving us had a weird sense of dry humour. The only good thing, for me, was the decor. It was smart but cosy, not too imposing. I have had better Italian food elsewhere, that's all I'm saying...

Absolutely delicious I think I've ever been to a resturant where the starters, mains and dessert were so good. I had the pork chop which was so juicy and tender I was tempted to lick the plate and the calamari starter was the best calamari I've ever had. This resturant is my favourite by far good food freindly staff, this is why trying local restaurants is better than going to big chain restaurants better quality and better service. I could wite so much more about the place, definitely coming back many more times
