Great food, but meal felt very rushed. We left feeling uncomfortably full, as every course appeared quickly and hardly time for each course to settle!

Patara offers a good range of Thai dishes and the ones we chose were well prepared and tasty. The staff at the restaurant are welcoming and friendly, providing good service throughout the meal. There is also an opportunity to taste some Thai wine from the Monsoon valley, an extra treat.

The patara platter as a starter was lovely. My main course of a chicken pad Thai was ok, I’ve had better! I found the drinks and food to be overpriced especially the drinks! I had a passion fruit caprinha which came in a small glass and cost about £16. Overall, I have had better Thai food and cocktails but the ambience and service was very good.

We ordered both the vegetarian set menu and the classic set menu, along with a few items from the a la carte menu at this restaurant. We found that the set menus were already substantial, so the extras weren't necessary. The portions were large and the selection of dishes was impressive. Despite the generous portions, the quality and taste of the food were excellent. The restaurant offers delicious Thai cuisine, a pleasant ambiance, and good value for fine dining. We highly recommend trying the signature sea bass dish. Ver carta
