Patty&bun Old Compton Street

We were four person. It was delicious but the portion of the burger was small. If you are so hungry, go somewhere else. Avoid chicken burger. Meat is better.

Lunch menu was great value, burger was great but the fries really dissatisfying, they tasted like they’d be re fried from the day before. Chicken thighs are great.

Nice burgers but very pricey nowadays. We were trying to not spend much so we got two burgers, 1 portion of chips and no drinks and somehow that added up to £29!! They tack on 12.5% service charge onto the bill that you can’t remove so beware of their prices!!

I got a Smoky Robinson Burger, chips and a cider. Burger and chips are great, cider not really good. I did not give 5 stars because of the compulsory 12.5% tip, which I was really surprised to see on the bill. This should be a choice based on the quality of the service we aren’t in the US!

Eaten here a couple times before and the burgers and service are great. I had a poor experience here last night though. The fries were way too salty, almost inedible. I asked for my burger medium and it was nicely seared on the outside but completely raw on the inside. I was up all night being sick. Obviously I wish I had said something at the time but was with friends and didn't expect to get ill.

I used to be a big fan, so particularly disappointed with latest two visits finally leaving a review. Jose Jose bun was somehow super bland, patty overcooked and dry despite asking for medium. Chips were the worst I had in a long time, having been overcooked in oil that’s seen way too many previous uses. Staff attitude was very poor also. There was never any ambiance to begin with so with the burger and chips poor there is zero reason to go. All in all I would suggest skip and look elsewhere.

Visited Patty and Bun during one of my work breaks c: Always miss happy hour because I finish work at 3pm : Cool atmosphere, small inside, friendly staff, few options to choose from. Not really my acquired taste, I wish there was more choices for the shakes but very limited ; ; The brisket loaded chips was meh to me but it was nice said from others. The nuggets were a little on the pricey side, there’s also student discount available but I forgot mine so Will come again to try their burgers but idk when x:

Absolutely gorgeous! I've only eaten from here using their delivery service but what you get is still absolutely restaurant quality. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. The loaded fries are particularly good and it's clear a lot of time and effort goes into every dish. The weekly specials are great and always really different for those who like to be adventurous! The desserts are just on another level... the cheesecakes are just incredible. It is more expensive than your standard takeaway but that's because it isn't your standard takeaway!

P&B used to be way better before covid! Dropped one star because the hot chic isn’t the same, but it still beats the other fast food chains and a great, fun place for a quick sit down burger and fries. Love the atmosphere and decor too. Dropped another star too as we had an order mix up and one of our group was given a beef burger (he doesn’t eat beef because he’s Hindu! and was told it was the lamb burger he ordered, unfortunately he took a couple of bites before realising it wasn’t his order and was horrified. The waitress got him his actual order and apologised for the mix up, but little too late really! Such a shame as P&B has always been flawless for us until this visit.
