Pepe's Piri Piri - Carta

Very deceiving we were after the genuine Pepe shop as much as I was starving the chicken was old and dried reheated about 20x never again. Just bought greggs after eating at this failure of a place. AVOID!!

Rang up to see if we could place an order. The staff member was very rude and abrupt. When questioned about his behaviour towards a customer he put the phone down. Turned out to be the manager. With management like this you can’t expect much from the place

The food at this restaurant is delicious, however the timing of the service leaves much to be desired. The food should be ready at the promised time and the staff should focus on serving customers promptly instead of wandering around aimlessly. After reading a number of negative reviews, I felt compelled to write one of my own. I had visited Pepe's in Stockport before and was very impressed, but this time was a bit disappointing. The staff were not very friendly or polite. While the food was tasty, my chicken was a bit fatty. Despite this, the flavors were delicious.

No manners at all Don’t know to speak with customers Looks like they don’t want anyone coming in Come from Birmingham and thought to try it here But really disappointed Had to leave the food because of customer service So ended up eating in grillville If the owner don’t take it seriously now Will loose a lot ok future I believe

Do not come here , 12 mini wings 9.99, enough to feed a 10yr old child, 45 quid later i got 12 wings and 2 burgers and some chicken rice. Very very expensive and the food does not taste right at all. The fizzy drink they use are defo not original, its cheap stuff and remember they are refillable so dont buy 1 each. Poor, never will come here again. My sons and his friends went to pepes today 11/12 ur olds. They saw the add which said lunch menu inc fries, drink, rice box, half chicken or wings and drink. They charged them and did not put the drinks in or fries. When they went back to complain they were fobbed off by saying does not inc fries anymore. My son said it is advertised, they said well we don’t do it now, after a few words they have them the drinks. How disgusting that you treat children like this, my children or I and many others will not be visiting again.

I think the restaurant may have new owners now because the decor is nicer and the menu has changed. The service is quicker and I find myself going there often now. Since 2021, there has been a big difference - it used to be small and the staff weren't very nice. The food is good, with lots of zesty and spicy flavors. I love their peri peri salt on chips and they always give a tub of garlic mayo for free with every meal. The staff are nice and patient, although they don't always seem to have hummus available, even though it's on the menu. The sharing platters don't have anything great on them. I went in with my family to eat on 31st July 2021 to Bolton Pepes, we ordered chicken strips, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and fried rice. We found hair in the fried rice, the rice was uncooked, and informed the staff, they give us another potion to take away. The chicken pieces were hard and rubbery, looked as if it was re-heated food that they give us. Lots of powdery sauce poured all over the chicken. They should give us fresh food, it’s what we paid for (it’s not cheap prices) The next morning we all had sickness and diareha, this was due to the food poisoning of there food.
