"I'll be honest, The Buthay Inn wasn't my 1st choice of accommodation when looking for places to stay, but in 5 years time when I need to come to wickwar again, I won't bother looking at anywhere else. The bedroom was great, the food was exactly what you'd expect from a pub (the Sunday roast the pizza were both amazing) and the service and hospitality was excellent! Thank you Marlize for the roast beef sandwich and the cooked breakfast. They were nice touches and I really appreciated it.. And thank you for finding me a bycicle as well! All these little things that you did made my stay really great and they are the sign of a host who really knows how to accommodate their guests. Thank you Ryan, Aubry and (I think your name was) Tia for being so welcoming and friendly. My stay was almost perfect, but... If I had to offer any constructive criticisms at all, it would be to keep an eye on the consistency of the presentation of the meals coming out of the kitchen, but that's it.. Everything else was fantastic!! The Buthay Inn deserves all the praise that it gets, and me saying that I would stay there again should speak volumes. 4 out of 5. I left there happy."

A must visit during your time in Wickwar. Lovely environment, and cracking variety on tap. The curry night, Thursdays, has to be one of the best curry’s I’ve had in a long time. Friday build your own burger and Sunday roast shall be the next visit. Thank you for your hospitality 10/10

I cannot owe our visit in this beautiful traditional village public house and restaurant. we were greeted at our arrival and shown on our table in a well-designed and spacious dining area. our meals arrived with a minimum of delay hot, and I must say that we both commented on the quality, quantity and reasonable price food we had ordered. the whole staff gave us the feeling as if we were native, and nothing was too much annoyed, and culminated in a very pleasant evening in this facility. we will definitely return and recommend. thanks to all those who felt so welcome and the cook for a wonderful meal.
