"My husband discovered there was a new Persian restaurant not far from where we live. I had never tried Persian food before so was interested in going.Very nice restaurant with a wide variety of dishes to choose from and fast, friendly service. We ended up ordering the Grill Plate for 2 which included 2 different types of lamb skewers as well as a chicken skewer. The plate also came with grilled tomatoes, onions and the best saffron rice I've ever had. The grill plate was definitely more than enough food for the 2 of us, I had to tell my husband to finish the plate off because I was just too full. Before our grill plate was brought out we were given a basket of wonderful bread that also included some cheese, herbs and radishes, that was a nice way to start the meal. After clearing our table the waitress asked if we'd like a Persian black tea which we were given free of charge. Even though we were full we did decide to try the Persian ice cream and all I can say is I'm heartbroken you can't buy this somewhere by the bucket! Gorgeous ice cream that had saffron, cream, rosewater and pistachios. It was actually a very refreshing and perfect end to our meal. At Nayeb you get excellent, flavourful food, fast friendly service and very good prices. I'm so glad we decided to come here, we'll definitely be back again!"

Overall underwhelming experience. It's a Persian restaurant but you feel you could be eating food from anywhere in the world. Bland flavours and presentation and pricy, for what you are being served.

Excellent Persian restaurant . Food, service and location are perfect and very friendly. We were in business lunch in Nayeb Restaurant in Cologne and they were perfect. رستوران فوق العاده با غذايي عالي و سرويس خوب و قيمت مناسب بخصوص براي قرارهايي كاري و مكان خيلي شيك

I really enjoyed the food. Kashke bademjan for first course, kabab chenje soltani for main course. The food is plentiful and very tasty, reminded me of home (I'm Persian). Especially nice with mast o musir. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Altogether paid €50 for two people, including drinks and a tea on the house. Strongly recommend this restaurant! I went here with my Persian boyfriend and its been delicious. I was surprised by the diversity of the Persian kitchen. We chose the buffet which wasn't presented super fancy but tasted good nevertheless. The atmosphere was what surprised me most because it's been really familiar. And it's been quite busy even though we came there past lunch time. My boyfriend claimed that not all tasted like it does normally but all in all we've been pretty satisfied. Would go again.

we are unconstitutional, we had a table reserved for the holy evening and we were assured that is open and binding. after several times not reaching the restaurant we have just offered that the restaurant has the holy evening. so the reservation is snow of yesterday. How can you handle people like that? If we hadn't called, we should have stood in front of a closed door. they are simply new in the car and simply have unprofessional and unharmed at the same time. I never thank them again.

I was in the mood for Persian food, so I consulted the Tripadvisor Apps. This restaurant was highly rated, and I must say the rating is pretty accurate. The food was pretty authentic, very similar with some of the best Persian restaurant that I've tried. The service is ok and the price was reasonable. The only strange thing is, they don't accept credit card. For some reason I keep encountering restaurants that does not accept credit card in Germany. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. I went to Nayeb with my friends for a Wednesday dinner. I've never had any Persian food, so was very much looking forward to the taste of Iran. The menu consists of fish / chicken / lamb dishes prepared in two ways - grilled or served in a thick sauce. I chose a pomegranate - nut gravy with chicken, accompanied by saffron rice. Maybe I could have chosen something different as the seeming interesting sauce turned out to be completely uninteresting, with no leading flavor. Very delicate meat though. I will come back though, as I am sure the restaurant has better things to offer. Friendly service and good prices.

This is a new Persian restaurant in Cologne and we found out about it via Quandoo, so we thought we would give it a go.The decor is very nice and modern, and the service was excellent, friendly and fast. There are plenty of tables for small or large groups. We ordered the Nayeb Grill Teller for 2, which consisted of a lamb "skewer", one chicken "skewer" and 2 minced lamb "skewers", along with some vegetables and grilled tomatoes and saffron rice. Before this, we had some lovely fresh bread with cheese and greens. All the meats were very tender and tasty, and the rice was really fluffy! We then had a Persian black tea each. Really nice with a hint of lemon in the taste (we later found out this wa...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
