"Was so let down by this restaurant. On first entering I was looking forward to dining here as it was very nice inside and there seemed to be a good ambience. The menu looked great and I was looking forward to what I had chose. The extremely arrogant waiter decided to order for the table which caused a lot of confusion as people had allergies and were worried certain food would not be liked. We got three plates of antipasti. Such a let down, low quality and basically just a plate of vegetables and tiny amount of meat for 8 people. The service was terribly slow and after about 30 mins from finishing the antipasti, the plates were removed, We waited another 20 mins for a bowl of pasta in butter with truffle shavings. Absolutely useless and pointless. The waiter chose when he could understand or not understand what we were talking about and kept walking away. The main course was gladly our own choice after a lot of fiffing and faffing about. People were not blown away by their mains. I will not be returning and I would urge others to find better Italian restaurants nearby."

Food is described as maximum of average. Slow service and vert tight seating. Prices are fairly high.

All we can say is wow!!! The service was excellent. The food without a doubt was impeccable. Lasagna is to die for...We highly recommend this fabulous Italian restaurant in Berlin. Who would think that Germany would have one of the best Italian restaurants?

Always eat here when in Berlin as the food is always excellent.Their fresh pasta dishes never disappoint and the meat dishes are also very good.Service does vary somewhat here as the standard seems to depend on how busy they are. When there is a small to medium crowd in then the friendly service is fine however as soon as it gets busy then it does seem to suffer a noticeable delay.

The food is solid Italian The pizzaes are very good - remember to ask for the chili oil and the fresh parmasan The service depends on the day - this was my 4th visit and the service has been all from 1 star to 5 star - so seems like a day form thingThe prices are in the hight end around 18-20 EUR for a pizza etc. But the quality of the food and the location of the restaurent taking into consideration, this is expected.

I've been to Petrocelli's previously and went this time with my partner on our last day in Berlin. Service was prompt and helpful with a good number of English speaking staff to help us as my German isn't the best!I had penne alarrabiata and my partner had gnocchi with truffle. Both were generous portions and very enjoyable for lunch. I'd be happy to recommend Petrocelli's to anyone looking for a good Italian meal in one of Berlin's most famous places.

On a recent week in Berlin, we dined at this fine establishment no less than 3 times. The dorado was superb. The salmon tartare appetizer combines sushi grade salmon with fresh avocado and philadelphia cream cheese. It was delicious. The excellent manager chastised my wife for eating the same thing each time. I had ravioli, gnocchi and a rack of lamb. All were excellent. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Some reviews complain about perceived slow service. It is European to take your time eating dinner, particularly in Spring and summer when the sun does not set until after 10 pm. Enjoy the respite. That is what you are on holiday for.

There is simply NO BETTER Italian restaurant in Berlin, over and over, years and years I try and try but always come back to Petrocelli. Where else do you have the same service year after year, I'm talking great standards and the same people? This speaks volumes for the employees who stay with the restaurant for all these years, of course the food is simply the best quality. This is the place where West Berlin legends meet; From the TV and movie personalities to world champion boxers and the old school playboys of times past. There is a certain flair here you have nowhere else in the the city, those who frequent this establishment have a certain standard which they expect and with which they...

Excellent location on the famous Kurfuerstendamm avenue in Berlin, with starched white table cloths, nice ambiance, and good food. Though not cheap. it is a pity that a (Italian) restaurant of this status doesn't offer any dish with eggplant !!!! The service was very poor, and we had some difficulties with the waiter to understand each other in English. A waitress almost served us a coffee while we were still eating our main dishes (she mixed up the table numbers). The bill was of 91Euros for 4 people. I left a one hundred note in the folded carton, on the table. The waiter picked it up, looked at it and asked : is it ok like this ?? meaning that he would simply keep a 9 euros tip for himsel...
