"Found this place on trip advisor and visited for take away a few times now and the reviews are well deserved. Sorry I would have taken a photo of my lovely pizza but was too busy eating it. Every visit, the pizza is amazing, hands down the best pizza you will get around here, and probably one of the best pizzas I've had full stop. And I can't order without getting some garlic bread with cheese. Really well made, great toppings and ingredient quality, and not stingy with the cheese. Collected again last night and met the lovely couple that run it, they have been there for 40 years! It's criminal I've lived in the area for well over 10 years and they are 1.5 miles away and I've had no idea. If you order pizza from anywhere else, you're making a mistake. They don't have a website so I'll upload a picture of their menu from their Facebook page."

"Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly staff member at the entrance. Our waiter, Charlie, was extremely attentive throughout our enjoyable breakfast experience. The food was outstanding - I received three different flavors of jam with my toast, a generous portion of smoked salmon, and my taste buds were thoroughly satisfied. My friend ordered a bacon baguette and also raved about how delicious it was. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations given the reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago to celebrate a birthday with my partner. It was our second visit to the establishment, the first being in November 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The service initially started off well, with a warm greeting upon arrival, reminiscent of our first visit. However, as the evening progressed, the service from the wait staff deteriorated significantly. We had to actively signal for staff members, with only a 50% success rate in getting their attention. Despite ordering a second round of cocktails, they never arrived after a 20-30 minute wait, as it seemed we had been forgotten about. I eventually had to flag down a busy worker to request the bill and inform them to remove the second round of cocktails from our order. After promptly settling the bill, we decided to leave. It appeared that the restaurant was more relieved to see us go than to have another table to serve. It was evident that they were severely understaffed on a Thursday/Friday night - one would assume they would have enough help on a busy night like that. This second experience was a complete contrast to our first visit. I am unsure whether I will return in the future. Service rating: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40-50"

"Nice food, steaks are good value if you go on a Tuesday. Service not great, staff fail to check if you require more drinks etc during meal. Drinks are very expensive, wine is overpriced and being charged £2 for half pint of soda water is outrageous. Overall, a tasty meal, just be prepared to have your wallet emptied for drinks. "Had such a terrible experience walking into here. After coming to the area to celebrate a family wedding we went in hoping to get some food which on the outside said started from 6pm this was also stated online. When we went in my brother in law (white) was greeted with smiles when we walked in behind him (black) the mood became hostile and we were patronised as we were told food is not being served. When we tried to explain the website and sinage outside we were once again spoken to in an aggressive manner. I found this very uncomfortable experience as we could have still have consider sitting down for drinks. The service and atmosphere shown to us gave us the impression straight away we were not welcome. Just to be clear me and my brother inlaw both left our own separate reviews as we all felt the same way and furthermore even if food is no longer being served the delivery of this fact towards us was out of order on every level."
