Staying nearby found this palce. Ordering my meal service was quite quick and food was fresh as described on the menu. Good to have an option of baby boiled potatoes

The big breakfast was truly mind blowing and so delicious, but the waiter serving us on sunday morning was so grumpy and extremely rude. He really needs to be taught about customer service.

There aren't many options for pies, and I'm not sure why this place receives such high ratings. The pie I ordered was too hot to enjoy and the spices were overwhelming, making it quite unpleasant. Ver carta

We ate here twice during our visit. We had a variety of dishes over these 2 visits. The shepherds pie was amazing as was the steak and mushroom and fish and chips. Polite staff, nice comfortable environment. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Strange concept of food asian style fillings in pies i had the very hot pie with mash mushy peas gravy with a crunchie milkshake. I like hot curries but this pie was not enjoyable had to leave half as it was uncomfortably spiced up to sn extreme hotness.

I should point out that the Ilford branch has good reviews, but I have only been to the Whitechapel one. I had a pie with filling which was decent enough, but was disappointed to see that it was pretty much 50-60% filled. The actual size of the pies are misleading, as obviously the owner is trying to make more margin with this practice. The food wasn't bad, but this just annoyed me. Ver carta

Stating nearby and found this as we walked. Looked like a good option as the adults wanted pie and the kids wanted lasagne and burger! Really well priced and the portions were good. We had a variety of sides and they were all delicious. No license but the non alcoholic beer was Cobra and was tasty like the pies!!! We had Steak and Mushroom and the Spinach and Feta, the Spicy mash was gorgeous with bits of chillies!

I highly recommend this restaurant as the food quality is excellent and the wait time is short. In addition to their delicious pies, they also offer other options like the hearty Big Breakfast I tried. The Big Breakfast includes a Spicy Omelette with Birds eye chilli, chips, chopped mushrooms, sausages, turkey slices, baked beans, French bread, and spinach (tomatoes removed). The food is also halal. Keep in mind they only accept cash, not card. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

I love that there is a whole store dedicated to halal pies. It's a unique find in Birmingham, as far as I know. I decided to try the steak and mushroom pie with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables, while my companion ordered the shepherds pie with spicy mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Unfortunately, neither dish impressed me. My pie was average at best and lacked flavor, while the shepherds pie was disappointing and not up to par with what my sister makes. I was hoping for a unique dining experience in London, but our first meal left much to be desired. However, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, this place may be worth a try for a casual meal every once in a while. Ver carta
