"First time we'd been and we were a bit disappointed. I think, sadly, vegetarian restaurants have to try harder but this lacked a little I think. We both had smoothies and flatbreads and must say straight away that both smoothies were exceptionally good. Outstanding. The flatbreads, not so much. The Better Half had Chilli Halloumi with Hummus and didn't think the combination worked. And he loves hummus. His opinion was that there was too much bread. I had Brie, Cranberry and Stuffing. Unfortunately there was a very large amount of flatbread to filling. The flatbreads were large and very thick. Only about a third of mine was filled so I had a large amount of bread with no filling. The salads that came with them were nice and fresh but small and a very small amount of tortillas. Before I started eating my salad I asked a waitress for a clean fork as mine was dirty (some kind of creamy thing on it). She changed it, but how she felt about it showed clearly on her face and she wasn't happy. This sort of thing happens and is very easily done, but it could have been handled more graciously, not as though it was somehow my fault. I ended up apologising and I'd done nothing wrong! This wasn't the waitress who welcomed us and took our order and our money, who was pleasant and informative. A lovely building but be aware that it's an old building, so the main area is upstairs."

So disappointed poor service and bland food. There are much better vegan and vegetarian options out there real 1970s vibe.

We popped in here for lunch on a visit to Lincoln. It's on the way to the Cathedral. We had soup with bread, Assam tea, a flat white and shared a cake all very good and reasonably priced.

Lovely atmosphere, perfectly done pizza with fresh basil, super creme brûlée , very nice hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Friendly but unobtrusive service . Tolerated our 4 year old !

This charming café is a hidden gem. The coffee is excellent, the staff are welcoming, and the cheese on toast is simply delicious. A visit to this place is essential for anyone in Lincoln. The table by the window adds to the cozy atmosphere.

No heating ! Come on ! This place isn;t cheap enough to justify having radiators off everywhere ... in January in Northern England. People dining in coats and hats. The food was ok thats all just OK not good enough to make up for the sub zero temperatures.

Lovely courtyard garden away from the business of this historic city street. Food is a a high standard and lots to choose from. Friendly and efficient service. I think that when you get a bottle of chilled tap water that is always a sign of a good restaurant.

We used to live in Lincoln a few years ago and always loved popping in here for lunch. I am pleased to say things haven’t changed. A lovely cafe and the staff re always friendly. I only drink coffee and water and so to have a choice of coffees is heaven for me. The server recommended the Colombian coffee which was spot on for my taste buds really different to most coffees with a great fruity taste. Next time we are in Lincoln we will be back.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and we are so happy we chose to eat here. We were debating between this place and a pie shop, but we are thrilled we went with this option. The coleslaw and salad were delicious and the staff were very friendly. The service was fast and they offer a wide variety of dishes. Even though I'm not typically a fan of vegetarian food, I really enjoyed what I ordered. If you are in Lincoln, do not hesitate to come to this restaurant!

I highly recommend this cafe! I had a friend visiting from out of town who is vegan, so we decided to stop by a vegetarian cafe assuming they would have a few vegan options. To our surprise, almost every dish on the lunch menu could be made vegan. There were over 15 options for my friend to choose from, which was impressive. The staff member who served us was polite, professional, and friendly. The prices were fair and the quality of the homemade meals was excellent. This cafe was a great find!

"From the outside, it looks like another tacky eatery in a street lined with tacky takeaways. Walk through the door and pleasantly surprised. A little deli counter, a back room then a garden. The garden overlooks a derelict abandoned overgrown garden. Not a problem, I am used to this in Athens. What is the problem, and I don’t see in Athens, tenants throwing rubbish out of their windows into the garden. It is ideal breeding ground for rats. The local environmental health should investigate, and if needed carry out enforcement action. To sit outside or not? Maybe too cool when the sun went in, and too hot if it came out as no shade. I decided to sit inside, near the back door. A red rose on the table is a neat touch. I was the only diner. Oh but we were busier earlier. Strange how I am always told, if you’d have been here when you weren’t here, we were busy. The menu was singurly uninspiring. Why panini’s? Everywhere does paninis. I have never understood why. Or pasta. The choice penne (which I don’t like), or spaghetti (which I dislike slightly less) I chose spaghetti Bolognese. It arrived seemingly quick. I was asked when I placed my order, did I wish for Parmesan cheese? It was added in the kitchen. Usually brought to and added at the table. Spaghetti Bolognese is not an Italian dish. It was an artificial dish with elements of North and South. The spaghetti mediocre at best, the Bolognese sauce excellent. I was going to leave but decided to stay. I chose tiriamasiu for dessert. Coffee, Illy, no thanks. For coffee walk to Madame Waffle or Coffee Aroma. I visited a couple of weeks ago, the previous week I found closed."
