Great place, nice halloween decorations. We just got there during our stay in Nottingham, looking for a pub, didn't get disappointed

I love this pub, it's perfect for alternative and gothic types. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor is great, and the food is pretty good as well. The staff is always friendly whenever we visit.

I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere, service, drinks, and food were all excellent. It's the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks, and a special thanks to Kev for making the night even better. He deserves a raise! Ver carta

for my first proper night out this was an amazing place to go it was so welcoming and was a very comfortable place to be the service was astonishing especially from Charlie she made me and my friends feel very welcome i highly recommend vising here I know i definitively will be.

It 's amazing. Love all the decor and staff are amazing. I just want to know.. in the girls bathroom behind the bookcase. Do you have a speaker In there of a girls voice saying I 'm watching you come and find me and then some wind noises. Cause at first it spoked me but I had a good giggle afterwards Thank you for a very memorable experience

Very dark decor and very weak drinks. The drinks have fancy names, but they taste more like milk and water or poor-quality juice and water than £6 cocktails. I will add that we drank drinks-glasses, not pitchers (a friend had already warned us). The quality of the beer was also poor, compared to other places. Everything tasted like someone poured a lot of water into the drinks. Unfortunately, the service was also excessive, and looked as if they were working for punishment. Don 't be fooled by the basic looking outside. The ground floor has nice decor,but go downstairs for a gothic horror look, even if your not a goth. The decor is truly amazing, alcoves with seating in and hidden area for the toilets. The plaques and pictures on the wall are brilliant Some weird and amazing cocktails and shots add to the ambience, the furniture reminded me of Interview With a Vampire. Katie, the barmaid, went out her way to ensure we had an enjoyable time, the bar staff were attentive and friendly. There is an app for easier ordering but not everything was on it yet as I was being updated.

After some time, a manager stormed over to our table and demanded payment for the garlic bread we had eaten. We explained that they never attempted to remove it, and it was their mistake. The manager's attitude was poor, and her behavior left a sour taste in our mouths. The small mistake over a £3 garlic bread wasn't worth the unpleasant experience. Despite being a fan of the restaurant in the past, I am now hesitant to return due to the issues we encountered. It's a shame for business over something as trivial as a piece of bread. Merry Christmas, Pit, perhaps next year your theme can be A Christmas Carol.

My hubby and I went here with the intention of doing the 'seven deadly sins challenge ' to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The 7 deadly sins cocktails were all very tasty and at only £10.45 for 2, also affordable. The food at the pub looked and smelled really tasty, although we 'd already eaten so didn 't purchase any. The decor of the pub is creepy haunted style, I guess. Amped up because it was Halloween weekend, but i 've been before and it 's always decorated in a similar fashion, which is fabulous. Expect nooks and crannies, interesting artwork, chains on the walls, shackles and cages all rather wonderful if that 's what floats your boat (which it does for me, so all good! The music... Ver carta
