"Leider war das Essen beim Buffet wiederholt nur lauwarm und nicht heiß. Die Sesambällchen waren steinhart, als ich einen Hinweis gegeben habe, habe ich ein frisches bekommen. Die am Buffet wurden aber nicht getauscht. Die Eistruhe sieht mittlerweile leider gar nicht mehr gut aus. Die Dichtungen und Ränder Schwarz vor Dreck oder Schimmel, man kann es leider nicht erkennen. Auch wird das Wasser von den Eisportionierern nur selten gewechselt, sieht also auch sehr ekelig aus. Wir waren bisher immer zufrieden, aber da es nun wiederholt aufgefallen ist, werden wir dieses Restaurant leider meiden, auch wenn unsere Kinder es absolut lieben. Das Personal ist aber immer höflich und zuvorkommend, da kann man echt nicht meckern."

"for us, unfortunately, not so delicious, but... if it goes after the many masters during our inestimacy, it seems to have to taste many here. because they say yes; “So many guests can’t be wrong, can they?”? But this is how it’s in life, what tastes one tastes, doesn’t taste the other. we were invited to eat on a Friday evening with friends who are more often here in the “Piräus”. the Greek restaurant “Piräus” is located with two other Greek restaurants, on the main road at the northern end of sande. on the one hand, there is only one house on the other, the “Ellas”, a former Greek, now Greek-Indian restaurant and a little further on the main street 92, the restaurant “Athen”. So, all by all, competition on shortest distance. the “Piräus” itself, had its opening in December 2014. Before that was in the building of the “Sultan’s Bistro Grill”. Unfortunately, even today the “Piräus” looks from the outside, like a fast snack. But in the interior of the local, we found the desired comfortable atmosphere, paired with the famous Greek hospitality and also felt very comfortable. where also feel comfortable, is defined differently by everyone. Although we were actually there quite early, the restaurant was already well visited and on the free tables we have seen almost everywhere reservation signs. only good that we had reserved in advance. from the service team and their attention, there is hardly any improvement. on this evening, with the owner there were three more very dedicated and friendly services in the not too large restaurant, which probably cared for the guests. so we not only have what is really uncommon, while our eating and also farewell, the most popular Greek national drink, an ice-cold “Ouzo”, but also a kind of aperitif as a small attention. as we almost always order the same dishes in the Greek restaurants, we could also compare the foods, in their quality very well. as an appetizer, we had asked if we could also get (but not on the menu “Grilled peperoni in garlic oil”. Unfortunately there were not, for that we got according to the card, “grilled peperoni in garlic sauce” for 4.40 €. as a supplement, there were elongated broth pieces that looked like long late zels (see photo . since the peperoni were probably only very short grilled (you could see them were still very juicy and so extremely sharp, so that you hardly had any taste for the others. the peperoni with a garlic sauce, were not in agreement with our taste (we know much better with fresh baguette . also the typical Greek grill specialities, such as lambkoteletts, souvlaki, gyros and Suzuka-ki, have not been so pleased. the lamb chops were simply faded and tasteless. I suspect that they were placed on the grill without a spicy. I didn't even know the reis as a supplement in this kind. he was cooked like in a nice broth. I'd rather like the Djuvec rice. the gyros was just as we know it, simply too dry and also too much too thick cut. the souvlaki (frikadelle and the suzukaki (spieß ), were also not “juicy and tender”. we know better. where the courts were sufficient. In summary, we found that it is not worth starting the restaurant “Piräus” in sande extra."

"Inspiriert von dem „ehrliches Essen“ Kanal auf YouTube und als Inhaber eines Deutschland Tickets, habe ich mich an einem Samstag mal auf den Weg von Hannover nach Sande gemacht. Und ja, ich bin tatsächlich nur wegen einem Burger 3 (bzw insgesamt 6 Stunden Zug gefahren. Die knapp 30 Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof bei strahlend blauem Himmel und angenehm warmer Luft, ließen den Appetit steigen. Eigentlich wollte ich nur einen Burger, entschied mich dann aber doch für ein Menü. Wurde ich enttäuscht? nein Ich habe jedoch auch nichts bahnbrechendes erwartet, sondern einfach einen verdammt guten Burger. Und den bekommt man hier. Ich muss jedoch auch sagen, dass ich da nicht so experimentierfreudig bin. Ich habe also einen klassischen cheese Burger bestellt. Man sollte sich hier die Zeit nehmen und auch die Optik etwas wirken lassen. Vom Essen und vom Ambiente. Ich hatte eine kurze Zeit wirklich vergessen,dass ich an einem Foodtruck stehe. Daher auch beim Ambiente volle Punkte. Geschmack: Im ersten Moment wirkt es für manche ggf. etwas „lasch“. Wenn man sich aber ein wenig mehr Zeit für den Burger nimmt, kommen hier wunderbare Aromen zum Vorschein. Mehr Salz oder andere Gewürze würden das kaputt machen. Das Bun kann ich gar nicht beschreiben. So etwas fluffiges hab ich noch nie gegessen. Ach ja, die Pommes waren frisch, kross und wirklich goldgelb. Die beschriebene „Liebe zum Burger“ habe ich hier definitiv gefunden. Ich denke, hier sollte einfach alles so bleiben, wie es ist. Denn anscheinend ist es ja gut so. Und ja, ich kann mir irgendwann nochmal einen zweiten Besuch vorstellen. "Wenn es nach mir ginge, dann würde ich 25 Sterne vergeben. Da es sich empfiehlt dort einen Tisch zu reservieren, habe ich dies einen Abend vorher auf gut Glück versucht und es funktionierte. Ein Tisch für 2 Personen war reserviert und schon bei der Reservierung hatten wir viel Spaß mit den Angestellten. Abends trafen wir 2 Leute vom ASB, welche mit dem Wünschewagen unterwegs sind und denen wurde im Hotel schon gesagt das in der Ruine kein Platz mehr frei wäre. Wir sagten nur kommt mit, das wird dort schon klappen . Gesagt,getan und was soll ich sagen, wir haben dann einen Tisch für 4 Personen bekommen. Hierfür nochmals ein dickes DANKE von mir. Update: Am 27.April war ich wieder dort. Das Essen war wieder ausgezeichnet, die Angestellten wieder sehr freundlich und zu Späßen aufgelegt. Selbstverständlich werde ich hier wieder einkehren. Das Essen war super, alle 4 waren begeistert und es war wieder eine super Stimmung weil wir mit dem Personal, wie schon am Vorabend, sehr viel gelacht haben."
