The cocktails here are really yummy but two stars for the food.

4 hours in the salon for a color session and I got in hunger mode. porto the street market is filled with a series of restaurants etc. I had a great breakfast at egg break in the morning and was fed in the salon cookies, tees and cocktails. I wanted a little, but tasty, anything but a sandwich, before I went home from day to day.

The venue is located in the Nothing Hill area and offers a mixture of tapas and various Spanish dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant is more than cozy and the services in the restaurant are nice as well! They also have a variety of drinks in their menu. Their coctails are more than marvelous would recommend to try the Apple Mojito or the English Garden.

pix is a pintxos restaurant, a type of tapas found in the northern regions of Spain. there is a series of pix restuarants in the middle and west london, and I visited their portobello road filiale. the art and wise how pix works, there is a kind of buffet with hot and cold tapas that align with all the quarters of an hour or so changed. they go with them plate, choose what they want, and collect the spears of wood in the scurry that are counted at the end of their meal to find out what they owe. for people on the “lake food” diet like me, this can prove a bit a dangerous game! try the mango chili martini. my rating is all for it. they were from the watermelon martini, otherwise this is my way to the tapas is good, there is a mix of options that they can choose, all designed. not too many vegetarian options. not too many hot tapas. on the basis of the number they eat and no one knows how much it is, but we had about 4-5 tapas each and a drink and it came around 25 pounds per person. not bad but we were not absolutely stuffed because eating was not absolutely great decor but beautiful. dim yellow lighting with small tables, a candle etc. total good experience.

The Vibe PIX reminds me of how I imagine many a pinxto bar in Barcelona; slightly gothic décor with sexy lighting, cosy corners, ever replenishing fresh small plates, a drinks list to make your liver quiver and filled to the brim with late-night party-seeking international Erasmus students. When C and I decided to go for a girly mid-week dinner date, I suggested that we try Pix in Notting Hill (there are also other branches in Central and North London), because it seemed like a good choice for a dinner on the lighter side. I was trying to not overdo it before an inevitable amount of food and drink would be consumed in France over the weekend, and C wasn't after a heavy meal either I seem to be featuring C a lot on the blog lately!
