Pizza Express - Carta

The food was ice cold and the pizza had no tomato. It had loads of basil and pepper. The service was horrendous and took 20 minutes to serve drinks. We were there for 2 hours waiting for food and then we were asked to leave for the next booking. The waiter was chewing gum and was very rude.

Highly recommend pizza Express. Me and my husband were very impressed, we were greeted by a lovely waitress called Kenzie who informed us they were very short of staff and she was the only person on at the time. Having said that the service we had was exceptional, very friendly, and prompt. The pizza was delicious. Need I say anymore?

Quaint little shop front location in the nice little village of knutsford. Opens up inside to a wider restaurant inside terrace area. Service some of the best I've ever had at a chain line this, actually fed back to the manager on the night how well her team were coordinated together. We ate here last night for my little girls 5th birthday and the service was excellent. The waitress was so lovely and attentive, she noticed that my daughter had a birthday badge on and when she brought her dessert she had lit a candle and sang happy birthday to her. It was such a lovely touch that we didn't have to ask for and my daughter was so happy. Thank you amazing service that goes a long way.

We received a warm welcome when our group of six arrived at the restaurant. We had three adults and three older children. We were escorted to our reserved table, given menus, and placed our orders for drinks and food. The meals were all delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us despite being very busy. The manageress on duty was particularly lovely. Thank you for a wonderful evening out. The staff truly made our night exceptional.

We had a wonderful and enjoyable meal at Pizza Express Knutsford. Claire, our server, was lovely, kind, and very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was relaxing, the restaurant was clean and tidy, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They also offer a variety of gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions and are very kid-friendly. I highly recommend Pizza Express Knutsford. The service at this restaurant started off poorly and only deteriorated from there. The table servers appeared to be high school students with no training, while the supervisor was slightly older and had a disrespectful attitude. Despite the empty restaurant, the supervisor complained that we hadn't made a reservation for 5 people. When our drinks were brought to the table, one was spilled with no apology or offer of a replacement. Trying to get the attention of the servers was extremely difficult, but we eventually did get our food, which was actually quite good. Overall, the service at this restaurant was shockingly terrible.

I have visited this branch of Pizza Express many times during the last few years and have be very pleased with the quality of food and service, however my last (and final) visit drew negatives against both the food and the attitude of the manager. The pizza when it arrived was lukewarm having been served on a cold plate. I complained and whilst they did offer to warm it up, which I rejected as I believe that all food should be checked and served as soon as it is cooked, not be warmed up and therefore not fresh. It was all going well until our food arrived. My Leggera Pomodoro was basically a dry ring of bland pizza with 3 small tomatoes cut in half and a pile of rocket leaves. Nothing like the photo or description, with no basil or mozzarella. I didn’t want to wait for a replacement pizza, as it’s difficult with an active toddler, so was told the manager would come over. We waited, but no one came over so eventually asked for the bill. After saying we weren’t happy to pay for the Leggera (most of it was uneaten), the manager appeared.
