Pizza Express - Carta

Pollo Pesto a great favourite. Was quiet but very speedy service from Lizzy and really enjoyed the dough balls.

Service was great, however food was average and had better experiences at other pizza express locations. Would still visit again.

A large post wedding party, we pre booked and were looked after by a lovely server. Enjoyable evening with family of all ages (5-75) who were all well catered for xxx Ver carta

Being ignored by the head waiter when we arrive gave a bad impression. He walked passed us a few times before even acknowledging we were there. The waiting staff were friendly and service was average. The food was bland, unflavoured and very dull. Both our meals left us feeling underwhelmed. I believe more eye contact, personal attention and a good welcome at the door would have set the stage for a better experience. We won't be going back again.

Don’t bother. We had to fight our way through a wall of Deliveroo riders to get to the door, only to be told that there was a wait of ‘35 to 40 minutes’ on pizzas. Less than a quarter of the tables were occupied, so it’s clear this location prioritises food for delivery over the customers seated in the actual restaurant. We declined such a ludicrous state of affairs and went to The Real Greek where we were seated and served promptly and politely by staff who actually bother about their customers.

I am a big fan of pizza express so was really disappointed with customer service of this one. its in the middle of cabot circus which has a cinema so lots of people around to eat. went there on Saturday night at 8.15 to be told that if not booked then couldn 't take any more customers due to chef capacity. restaurant was half empty. still taking delivery drivers though. I was really confused as to why it was a Saturday night and not very late. all other restaurants were packed to capacity. As we left the server said sarcastically 'good luck '. We booked a table well in advance for two people lunch at 130am We arrived on time and was seated We were told food may be 20-30 min It was actually the waitress that took this time!! We were about to walk out at 155am because no one had come to take our order after we asked twice! Tried to use the app but the previous people on the table was still showing so could not order that way! When the waitress arrived I complained that it took 25 minutes someone to take our order she said sorry we are just busy...... someone else was served before us as well as deliveroo!!! Didn't like the atmosphere at all Food was nice but that was it Much prefer our local Plymouth branch!

the food was absolutely amazing and the price wasn’t bad at all so it seemed like it would be a great experience but no. the waiter was extremely friendly to us so we assumed he was very nice, we were trying to work out how to give a tip and told the man how much we wanted to tip and asked if we could do it on card. he requested we do it in cash so it actually went to him so we said okay and my friend gave him a £10 and said to then charge her £5 less on her card so he would be getting a £5 tip and he said he had done that. as three 16 years olds we were clearly very naive because when my friend looked at her account she had been charged the same amount as me and the other person we were wit...

My girlfriend and I were out in Bristol and decided to grab some lunch in pizza express. With my girlfriend being vegan, we had a quick look at the menu in the window to check if there were some vegan options and noticed a couple, so decided to go inside. On entry, the restaurant was clean and modern but fairly basic, it is quite a big restaurant with lots of tables so we didn’t have to wait. Once seated, we were offered a separate vegan menu which to our surprise had a huge range of options. There were at least 10 pizzas and several starters, sides and desserts. We decided to share two different pizzas so went for the Vegan Ad Astra and the Vegan Giardiniera. The service was quick and effic... Ver carta
