"Déjeuner avec mes grands-parents, dans un endroit chaleureux et des restaurateurs passionnés. Une cuisine raffinée et généreuse, avec des produits de saison et déclinés sous différentes formes. Rolando s'est adapté à mes allergies alimentaires en me proposant une plat spécifique (tous les allergènes ont été pris en compte). Le service était parfait. Nous avons également apprécié la proximité, la disponibilité et la grande gentillesse de Rolando et de sa femme. Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs."

"excellent restaurant, small map everything is neat. in itself the setting of the restaurant is not exceptional but the service, presentation and quality of the dishes are at the rendezvous. count for the menu entry/plat/dessert, which is reasonable compared to the type of kitchen. Everything was perfect, there's absolutely nothing to say. stars widely deserved."

"Located in the heart of Carentan, pizzeria with a pleasant terrace. Pizzas are correct, however, we must refrain from taking a salad, in this case a Caesar. Billing 17,50€ for white poultry pieces on a green salad bed with some parmesan shavings, all sprinkled with an ignoble industrial sauce, seemed excessive. We didn’t touch it, management didn’t charge us. On the other hand, a pity that they describe our simple remark as “pretentious” and are absolutely not in question."

"We had a couple of hours and thought we would have dinner, having looked at the menu we chose the contoir des marais. We arrived at 6.50 pm, We were told that there were no outside tables were available, okay, so, we had an inside booth by the time we left at 8.20pm no-one had arrived at said empty tables. It took an age for someone to take our order, so chose not to have an apero! We ordered a shared mixed charcuterie and fromage pIatter, in honesty, it was tasty. We then ordered mains. I had smoked salmon salad, husband ordered jambon grillé. Husband's food was again, tasty. The salad on the other hand...... It was, by far, the worst salad I have ever eaten. Pluses... plenty of salmon, lettuce was nice, tomatoes what there was, were okay too. Negatives... pre-prepared and left in the fridge, so too cold, tiny salad no dressing), very few tomato cubes, asparagus was from a jar and was so soggy it bent over my fork when i lifted it, potatoes were from a tin and wet and tasteless, toast was from a cheap sliced loaf. It all arrived in a breakfast bowl. When asked, i explained that I was unhappy, but they just dismissed me. I have been to this restaurant before and have had a pleasant meal, Maybe it is just the salads that are terrible. But sadly, this has put me off going again.!"
