"Ich war letzten Monat mit einem Freund bei Mykonos bei Mettmann und es hat uns sehr "gemundet". Das Restaurant war sehr voll (wir waren abends dort), was ja meistens ein Anzeichen für ein gutes Restaurant ist, trotz der großen Masse an Kunden, war die Kellnerin sehr schnell bei uns und auch auf unser Essen mussten wir nicht überdurchschnittlich lang warten. Leider bekam ich mein Fleisch etwas zu sehr angebraten, es war noch nicht verbrannt, aber es fehlte nicht mehr viel, ich schob diese kleine Malheur des Kochs auf die große Menge an Gästen. Sonst war die Stimmung aber sehr freundlich, nette grichische Musik im Hintergrund und ein einfach toller Abend."

"Everyone mourned to the old town forest house in Mettmann when he had to sneak after a long tradition. There were various rumors and stories about the reasons. Then the bureaucracy made problems and so was the beautiful house in Sleeping Beauty for years. On 14 June 2017, the town forest house was reopened after four years of interruption as a restaurant, café with a large beer garden. And it has become beautiful. Completely renovated. Interior beautiful wooden tables and a pleasant environment. It's Friday and we've reserved. That's good, because with time the place felt like watching. The service was very fast, maybe a bit too fast, because we hardly had a place we were asked for drinks. We have suggested that we have time and want to enjoy the evening in peace without hectic, then everything was fine. The map is clear and offers something for every taste. So we chose the stone mushroom Consommé with spring onions (EUR 5,90) and the Cocos Curry soup with chicken strips also on EUR 5,90. Both soups convinced. The curry soup was delicious and had a good note of pepper next to the curry. The deposits were sufficient.
