"I was visiting family in Bremerhaven Germany and fancied a nice curry. I was taken to a restaurant called Thaya. The food was delicious, I was impressed with the staff who were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was to much trouble them. We asked to be moved nearer the veranda as it was a very warm evening and we was moved without any fuss. The food really hit the spot and the portions were generous. I asked for a chicken madras, and was impressed when the waiter asked whether I wanted my curry European spicy or Indian spicy. I chose Indian spicy as I prefer to have a little bit of a kick when it comes to my curries and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean, with a nice decor and ambience. The whole family enjoyed the meals they chose. I will definitely come back to the restaurant on my next visit to Bremerhaven Germany. Plus my family members who live there said they will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends."

"Eine normale Bestellung in einer verlassenen Pizzeria dachte ich. Anfangs, ein Becks dann nahmen wir Platz, doch nach einer Weile auf dem Rückweg von der Toilette bekam ich meine Pappschachtel in die Hand gedrückt und durfte auf Wiedersehen sagen. Darauf hin bat ich höflich darum das ich mich nicht daran stören ließe, nicht von einem Teller zu essen, jedoch wollte ich doch gern Besteck. Die Antwort war sehr unfreundlich: ''die Pizza ist doch geschnitten!'' Fazit: tolle Pizza, schlechter Service aber wenn man dort bestellt gibt's wahrscheinlich nichts worüber man sich beschweren könnte."

"Directly in the inner city of Bremerhaven and directly beneath the "Große Kirche", you'll find this fine restaurant. I stayed there several times and always enjoyed the nice atmosphere, friendly service and really good food. This is not a take-away-pizza, but an italian restaurant. If you know the difference, go there. You will not be disappointed. In respect of fish, I prefer the Scala over nearly all other high class fish restaurants in Bremerhaven."
