The brothers learned the art of pizza making in Naples, where they discovered Nduja, a spicy Calabrese boar sausage that has become one of their signature dishes. Made with 50% boar and boar whey and 50% spicy Calabrian chili, the Nduja has a unique flavor. The dough is kneaded, not rolled, giving it a soft texture and charred crust. We ordered the margherita with buffalo mozzarella, filetti, eggplant parmesan, and portobello mushroom and truffle. All of the dishes were delicious, but my favorites were the margherita and eggplant parmesan! They were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend them!

Sometimes you just need a good old fashioned pizza – a no frills, solid, delicious, filling pizza that hits the spot! Pizza Pilgrims is pretty famous and they’re always popular at the various food festivals at which I’ve seen them. Their Soho restaurant offers that familiar, casual feel as soon as you walk in and we were seated pretty quickly. I opted for their vegan friendly Marinara pizza – this was basically their delicious base topped with tomato, oregano, fresh garlic, basil and olive oil. Sometimes the simple things are the best.
