"We popped in for lunch, 90 mins before a theatre visit. We hadn’t booked, but were welcomed in and shown to a table. Our waitress seemed surly at best. She took our drinks order quite quickly, but then seemed irritated that we weren’t ready to order our food and took ages to come back for the order. The restaurant seemed to get incredibly busy all at once, with dishes literally piling up but not being handed out by the waitresses, so the greeter had to get involved. Our waitress went missing during the 30 minute wait for our food, and time was ticking away before we had to leave. When it did arrive, it was decent, but we had about 20 mins to wolf it down before we had to leave. After that 20 mins, I asked several staff members for our bill, as our waitress was, again, not around. One told us to ‘give us a minute’ and then never came back; another said she would find our waitress. When our waitress arrived back on the scene, she scooted quickly past our table and went to make a coffee. As she went back past to deliver the coffee, I asked her for our bill. She ignored me, but then delivered the bill with no eye contact, just the question ‘cash or card?’ I declined the opportunity to tip on the card machine, and she almost threw the receipt at me. I appreciate it wasn’t her fault we were in a rush and the restaurant was busy, but her lack of availability and rudeness are what has encouraged me to write this review. It was a disappointing lunch for my children and me, to say the least."

I went for lunch and received attentive and friendly service from the staff. The pizza and salad were excellent. The restaurant was impeccably clean.

Went in at 8pm. Told no tables. Even although at least 2 tables were empty. Always had a nice time and even joined the club. Won’t be back. Horrendous. Spoiled our night.

We have visited many branches of pizza exprss around the country and have never been disappointed. This one has put us off, burnt dough balls, followed by burnt pizza, replaced with an undercooked pizza, finished off with strawberries with bugs on. To top it off the toilets were filthy. Avoid this place!

After doing the bus tour of London we got off here to see the Sherlock Holmes museum. This restaurant has a very nice outdoor space that was great for lunch on a super warm day. The service was impressive, very friendly and the pizzas were great too! Nice crispy crust, fresh ingredients and served quickly. Ver carta

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing staff. From the moment we entered the establishment we were treated with kindness and a genuine willingness to make our experience pleasant and enjoyable. Our waiter made suggestions, and helped us understand the menu. He was patient, sincere and extremely helpful. The pizza and dessert was amazing, we decided on the walk home to return again the next night as it was that memorable. On our second visit, the same employee, Sergi greeted us again and remembered us from the night prior. After a long day of exploring London, we all had a craving for pizza on our way back to Waterloo station. Luckily, we stumbled upon one of the largest Pizza Express locations I have ever seen - it is massive! We requested a table for 5 and were promptly seated. Unfortunately, they had run out of kids menus, but the staff did their best to accommodate us. The service was decent, though I have experienced better at other Pizza Express locations. Our table was 75, located near the kitchen where we could see the food being prepared.
