They were able to seat us as walk ins and served us rather quickly. The gluten free pizza tasted like a regular pizza and not like a cardboard box. The pasta was rather good as well.

Pizza Express have the perfect location in the bay area, it has a high visibility on the corner of a street with a circular design to the windows that unique, every one who visits the bay has to pass by, you can't help but go there. There a lot of competition from other pizzerias but the location makes the difference at street level with ample indoor seating and out door patio. You'll find the pizzas taste great but nothing to write home about and the service is swift. The pricing is inexpensive and I would choose them over a Pizza Hut any day.

We wanted something quick and easy, and pizza express sounded like the best bet. It was surprisingly pricey, with most pizzas being between £12-15. The service was also pretty slow considering it has express in the name. The dough balls were good, as was the beef rigatoni. The biggest qualm is with the pizza itself. The American Hot was not hot or spicy, despite getting all three peppers on it. It was listed as thin crust, but this crust was literally see through on most pieces. The dough seems to have been stretched so thin, so you 're getting very little out of each bite. 'Twas a bummer.

This is my all time favourite Pizza Express. Its got everything, the views are great, the atmosphere is perfect and the service is always top class. Its always busy so we often have to wait, especially on Wednesday when it's hard to resist the Orange 2 for 1 deal. But also there are usually other deals too if you go to their web page. There's nothing better that good food, except for cheaper good food. They seem to expect the busyness so they have a little seated area to wait which is nice. Pizza express is a chain of restaurants that most people have heard of and that most people have been to before. So why am I reviewing it I hear you ask. Well... not only is this particular reataurant situated in the beautiful surroundings of Cardiff Bay. It also has a lovely feel to it and serves great food by great people. On a sunny day they open the glass doors and seat people outside. Also at the minute if you google Pizza Express there are so many websites offering 2 for 1 vouchers. I know its a chain so you probably think if you've been to one you been to them all. No so. I have been to a few and this one by location, design and food beats many of the others including the city centre branch. You can't book so you will often have to queue but it won't be for long and the wait is worth it. On a summers day they can open up 1/4 of the restaurant to let even more light in to its bright, airy and circular structure. So having bigged this place up I have to mention 2 the occasions (out of a dozen times I've been there) that we were not entirely happy. Just print off a voucher from the website and voila Pizza for cheaper (say it, it rolls of the tongue nicely). This is a very cosy and a relaxing environment where delicious food is served and which is cooked with great delicacy and creativity. To inspire your imagination and to attract all of your five senses that will properly explode with shiver down your spine in sight of the wonderful Chefs cooking the pizzas right on view. As a very hot sizzling fire crackles away inside the unique cooker that you see heat up the pizzas there and then, right on view for everyone to see, who sits in there restaurant. Okay...... I 'm going to admit something very serious.... and I 'm going to humbly request to my fellow Yelp foodies to not show up as an angry pitchfork wielding mob to my house!
