"On the way back from the airport I was looking for a place for lunch. The Elrado House had been recommended to me by a colleague, and so I drove there. There are some parking spaces in front of the house when I arrived there was no place occupied. When I entered, I was kindly greeted by a waiter who had posted himself directly opposite the windfall door, on my question of a table for a person, he pointed out with a far-reaching movement that I could choose a table in the whole restaurant. I chose a table at the window and just pulled out my jacket when the waiter came and told me to bring the jacket to the wardrobe. In view of the fact that numerous valuables were in the pockets of the jacket, I did not do so and kept them at the table. I had just arranged when he gave me the menu and lit the candle standing on the table. Then he asked if I had a drink request or rather wanted to look into the map. I confirmed the latter, and immediately he disappeared into his waiting position opposite the entrance. The offer includes soups, salads, appetizers mainly steaks in different variants and weight classes, as well as some specialties. The entire map can be seen on the restaurant's homepage: [here link] After a short consideration, I ordered “Lamm-Filet (220g delicate pink grilled, without fat with roast potatoes and prince beans” (16.80 € and a large specific (0.4l for 3.10 €). After a very short time, the drink was well heated and served with half a lemon slice. In the meantime (12:30 a.m.), the restaurant filled itself well, the guests through Generation 50 . The facility fits in a certain way, it is traditionally in “Eiche rustikal”. Separate glass panes with brass posts are mounted on the backrests of the seat benches, the seat cushions are dark red-grey patterned. The tables were covered with yellow fabric tablecloths and white medium blankets, covered with cutlery and heavy paper napkins. In addition, the already mentioned (long candle in silver candle, two small roses in a porcelain vase as well as a holder for the ice cream card and three mills with salt, pepper and steak pepper. After a pleasant waiting period, which was long enough for a fresh preparation, the food was served on an approximately square plate. Five lamb fillets were each formed into small rolls and so grilled, and there were a heap of beans and roast potatoes. The potatoes were well fried, practically every slice had at least one small roasting place, and there was bacon and onions in the right dosage. The beans somehow didn't have a whip, even though they tasted good, you should have given some bacon. In any case, the lamb fillets were very good, outside relatively sharply grilled and inside beautiful pink, tender and juicy. The spicing was already quite good, a Kleck's herbal butter in the salad set could increase that if necessary. Of course, the waiter came by after some time and asked if everything was right. In general, both he and his colleague from the “good old school” were always friendly and attentive. Around 13:00 a.m. both were very busy at almost full-occupied restaurant, but the service that wasn't responsible for my table noticed that I had put my wallet on the table. “You want to pay?” she said to me, and to my nod: “I give it on!” Unfortunately, such attentive staff are rarely found today. In contrast to the rather traditionally furnished guest room, the toilets finally picked up proved to be technically and from the furnishings at the very latest and were pieksauber. Conclusion: Not about the restaurant was almost full, although some guests had to start by car. The food served here is really very good, the service is very friendly and attentive. The ambience I deliberately describe as “traditional” and not as “old-baked”, there is still a great difference between these terms. Here you can feel comfortable in practically any constellation. I can therefore fully confirm my colleague's recommendation."

"On the way home from Hamburg Airport at noon, I was driving this ancient Chinese restaurant. I knew it from an earlier visit, knew that numerous residents from the surrounding area would eat there lunchtime or order food to pick up. It was still ten minutes until the official opening time when I entered the restaurant and was immediately greeted by the staff behind the vault. I was looking for a second table near the windows. I had hardly taken any place when a waiter came to the table, the menu was enough for me and the tealight standing on the table was lit The restaurant team has been working there for a long time, the service employees all speak pretty good to almost perfect German and partly without accent. Even today, they were all very friendly and attentive and occasionally changed a few words with obvious regular guests. Food There is the usual program of a “German” Chinese at moderate prices, with a lunch table offering about twelve menus in the range between 7,50 and 10,00 € with a breakout of 12,30 €, most of which are at 7,80 €. There is also a soup (standard Beijing soup, but you can also order another or a spring roll. I chose the menu 2, “Brown beef according to Szechuan-Art, sharp” (8,30 € and also the soup, as a drink I ordered a Cola light (0,3l for 2,80 €). After a short time the waiter came with the ordered drink and a schnapps glass. He put the cola on the table and asked if I wanted a plum wine. When I nodded, he put the schnapps glass on the table and then disappeared again towards Tresen. It then took a while, then another waiter brought the soup in the usual Chinese peel with porcelain spoon. In the usual, slightly thickened liquid there were the usual, extremely small chopped pieces of vegetables and chicken meat, some sliced salmon were scattered over it. The soup was hot and made her second name “Sauer-sharf soup” quite honor, because she was both a little sour and a little sharp. The soup was consumed and the peel was cleared, shortly after that the waiter who had received the order placed a hot plate on the table and a plate on it. In the second gear, he then brought a metal bowl with rice and a plate with the meat and vegetables mixture. I filled rice and the mixture on the plate and began to eat. The vegetables – carrots, onions, peppers, celery and bamboo sprouts – were fresh and crisp, of course with the exception of onions. As usual, the meat was not fried sharply with crust, therefore delicate and tasteful. Overall, a successful composition, which, contrary to the announcement in the map and, of course, also of the type described (Szechuan usually has hardly any noticeable sharpness. I plundered the Sambal container, but that didn't really help. Ambiente Solid ambience with lots of wood in medium brown tone, without the often usual red orgies or even wild carvings. The seat cushions of the chairs and benches in red, the backrests red-brown patterned. On the tables there was a cream-white tablecloth made of brocade cloth, on it diagonally a middle blanket in the same type. There was a red middle ceiling, also diagonally. A flowering in a glass vase, a tealight in the acrylic glass stand and a massage with the usual spices completed the arrangement. The glass panes on the partitions between the tables were decorated with etched motifs. Cleanliness The guest room was clearly clean and well maintained, even plates, glasses and cutlery were perfectly clean. I didn't visit the toilet, so no statement is possible."
