"And yet another review from 2012 from my beginning 2015 No desire to cook yourself and after the previous reviews, the very polarized also skeptical curious we decided to visit the Trattoria Lorenzo this Tuesday evening we did not regret it. The Trattoria, as you can see at the fixed interior, was once a mountain restaurant, now enriched with Italian details, which are expected to be found in a Trattoria. The photos of the homepage give a quite good impression. You sit on various antique chairs of old wooden tables, where the antic should not be a criticism, because it radiates cosiness and fits the style. We have reservations for the short term, but it turns out unnecessarily, as the place was visited very little. Tuesday to Thursday are by the way promotion days with offers, for example only on Thursday pizza. These actions are quite inexpensive and also for the smaller wallet. The menu is not particularly extensive, but offers something for every taste, there is a selection of appetizers, including mixed antipasti, a salad selection, noodle fish and meat dishes. The map is also available on the Internet. We ordered an open white wine, with the obligatory bottle of water, as an appetizer mixed antipasti, a mixed salad and as a main dish navy and saltimbocca. The beverages came fast, to criticize would only be that the rather young and polite, perhaps a little insecure waiter, put the drinks on the table and did not invade. The appetizers came after a reasonable waiting period. The mixed salad was fresh and crisp with balsamico and olive oil, with roasted pine nuts. The antipasti also with some salad, tomato slices, fried pickled zucchini, aubergine, onion, paprika, mozzarella, parmas ham and Italian salami, all double, therefore good to divide. Everything very fresh and tasty. The bread (baguette I would have liked a little crispy. We had to wait for the main dishes, but not too long, the preparation probably started only after we finished with the appetizers. It's not bad, because we didn't have to say anything, and we could have said it if we were in a hurry. The mullet was dressed on a bed of ruccola and cherry tomatoes, with rosemary flakes being cooked as salt potatoes and then roasted in olive oil. Potatoes sufficiently solid, not boiled and flavored. The hull dressed in several pieces, grilled might have been cooked a little longer. Among the Saltimbocca there were also rosemary spices, Zuchini and carrot strips and Broccoli, the vegetables were perfectly cooked with fresh olive oil. I would have liked the vegetables on an extra dish on a plate with the Saltimbocca. The saltimbocca from veal were perfectly fine, tastefully, I did not miss sages or parmaschinkens as described in a previous review. The sauce, as it should be, was wiped with wine and mixed with butter, not a thick cream tune as you ever experienced. Normally I know Saltimbocca collapsed with sage ham insert, here the ham was laid on the outside one side, but ok, the taste was not tolerable. Critical points would be that I would have liked the meat a little more tenderly and that the dish could be visually more beautifully dressed. I missed something here. The obligatory espressi, somewhere else they would go through as a doppelio were nice with crema, for our taste somewhat bitter, which could be relativeized with sufficient sugar. A small supplement to the espresso would not have been bad, but it can sometimes be expected in top restaurants where the espresso costs 2.80. On the house there was a very good Grappa Riserva, nicely mild and slightly sweet as I like him. Conclusion, we like to come back when it comes. I decided to evaluate the overall impression here (not the individual areas according to the scheme of kitchen travel. This review background is solved by a restaurant classification. This can apply to both a star place and a pizzeria or a snack. I think that's fair, every restaurant category will be fair, and I'd find it nice if other friends would join it and get this through for the overall impression here. Overall impression: 3 – if it results again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen trip"
