"I stayed at Hotel Pappelkrug and would like to make an assessment. When I arrived at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, the restaurant was unfortunately closed. However, the hotel had informed about it in advance and added an explanation of the key box as I find the key box. On site there was a central minibar, where you can use it and pay at checkout. The rooms were simple, but modern furnished and all right. Breakfast is ok and the service is very friendly. Overall, I can recommend the hotel. I can't judge the restaurant because it was already mentioned, closed in the evening."

"Wir waren gerade in der Taverne und haben zu Abend gegessen. Vorab würden wir schon durch Freunde "gewarnt", dass die Qualität nicht sehr hoch sei. Da wir uns jedoch selbst davon überzeugen wollten, haben wir es getestet. Bestellt haben wir:1x Schnitzelpfanne1x Enchilada vegitarischNach Ca. 30 Minuten kam das Essen.Das Schnitzel - TK-Produkt - gab es zusammen mit einer Sauce aus Röstzwiebeln. Die Sauce bestand aus Zwiebeln, viel Paprikapulver rosenscharf, Stärke und Brühe. Dazu gab es Bratkartoffeln, die im Fett geschwommen sind. Kross waren sie dadurch nicht mehr.Der Enchilada meiner Frau war etwas besser, aber auch nicht so dolle. Auf Grund der echt schlechten Produktqualität war das unser letzter Besuch in der Taverne. Die Art der Zubereitung und die Qualität der eingesetzten Lebensmittel ist meines Erachtens für ein Restaurant ungenügend. TK-Schnitzel mit Zwiebeln kann ich mir auch in 30 Minuten selbst zubereiten - dann jedoch in deutlich besserer Qualität und es schmeckt dann auch. Abschließend kann ich die von uns gewählten Speisen keinesfalls empfehlen. Nur wer daheim ausschließlich mit TK-Zutaten und Fix-Für ... kocht, wird vielleicht das ein oder andere schmackhafte Gericht finden. Leider!"

"When visiting Halle (Westfalen) recently, we looked up Tripadvisor to find a good restaurant for lunch. To our surprise, Rossini gastronomie is not listed there! After some research, we found out that it is mistakingly listed under Halle (Saale), several hundred kilometers away. With Google maps, the exact location was given as Eggeberger Strasse 11, Halle (Westfalen): To get there, leave Halle in Northeasterly direction via Theenhauser Strasse, direction Theenhausern/Werther. Then, after some1.5 km, take a left at the sign Golfplatz (golf course). There is no sign to the restaurant itself. Drive some 500 meters up the hill and Rossini is at your left, at the golf course. It has a nice ambiance, with beautiful views over the golf course and the woods in the back, also from the large terrace. We were greeted warmly upon entering, seated nicely and given an overview of the various luncheon options. We opted for the business lunch, a 3-course meal with the following choices: Small house salad or soup; fried salmon with stir fried vegatebles and potatoes or pesto noodles with fried chicken breast, vegatables, mini tomatoes and Parmesan cheese,or vegetarian pesto noodles. Dessert was red fruit ice cream with fresh strawberries, or coffee. Everything we ordered was delicious, service was attentive and fast and all this for 14.90 euro 's per person. This gem is not easy to find for people from elsewhere, but definitely worth a visit."

"The kitchen can compete with the upscale restaurants in the area. The family-run house looks very clean, bright and the staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Above all, this is so extensive once a month that I don't want to be filled so quickly....! In addition to the normal ingredients ( sausage, cheese, honey, jam, egg), there are also muesli, quark, various types of fish, sausage, freshly prepared eggs with various ingredients and ingenious small delicacies such as small assail rolled in ham. In an advanced hour the glasses come with different desserts. All drinks (coffee specialties, 2 varieties juices, milk and tea) are included in the price as a self-service flat price. All in all, the price is extremely favorable for everything. A special highlight is the annual fishing festival with live music by Shanty-Chor Bielefeld. There is only one point that had disturbed me: in recent years we were there two, three times and had to find another food place hungry again, because there was no place for us because of a closed society or the like. However, this speaks only for the quality and popularity of the hotel, and that we better call or reserve...!"

"This was the surprise for us in Halle Westfalen. Simple ambience, but you can't eat it either. The pizza was just brilliant. The pasta delicious. The wine for the price is very good. We had an ITALIAN evening in the middle of Westphalia. Just perfect. Thanks for the great evening. We like to come back."
