"Attracted by the menu and the beautiful reviews, we went to this restaurant. People make us sit down despite our advance of booking time and at the time of order unfortunately not everything was available, from appetizers to seconds. The ingredients are replaced by others without changing price, despite being of lower quality. Example, culatello replaced by a national raw, (for this reason unordered), pacchero replaced by calamarata, (ordered however) and pork fillet, replaced by 3 ribs, (however ordered for my son). This does not want to be strongly critical, but an invitation, advice to those who read the menu in advance and fall in love, to call first to know availability. In the discreet context."

"Pietanze divine e curate, Complimenti allo Chef. in particolare i primi piatti , gnocchi artigianali con cozze ,menta e zafferano di cui si assaporavano distintamente tutti gli ingredienti, calamarata con gambero rosso idilliaca , e pasta cotta davvero al dente. Secondo piatto di polipo verace buono e consistente. Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto con del vino Pecorino ma la seconda volta il calice è stato riempito meno della prima. Per finire una pannacotta al.frutto della passione (preciso che una pannacotta così buona è la prima volta che mi capita) e una cheeskake. Prezzi direi onesti considerando la qualità del cibo , e la posizione vicino alla piazza . 70. Sicuramente da migliorare il servizio, i camerieri lo visti un pochino sbrigativi e non ci hanno chiesto neanche se gradivamo vino ... INDUBBIAMENTE un locale da consigliare"

"I feel a little uneasy to title this review 'authentic Italian fish retaurant ' because I am not in a position to judge what genuine 'authentic ' is. However I have no difficulty in believing it is authentic, not in a contrived way for presentation purposes, but in doing what they do the way that they do it. A fish retaurant it certainly is, 100%. Both the authentic and fish tags could be taken to be unreservedly positive, and for those dinners seeking these characteristics out they are. So the Excellent reviews are both understandable and deserved. Others may conclude: 'I 'm glad I went, but just once '. The restaraunt is small and tucked away amongst back streets and alleys, so not easy to find. Though we had booked we were the first to arrive and they were not ready for us, so we went and had a glass of wine nearby and returned in half an hour. This didn 't feel like a problem, just 'authentic '. Ordering is not about ticking menus but a chat with the owner who is eager to explain and to adjust here and there. Authentic. He is about seafood, not presentation in elegant surroundings, and it 's seafood not just fish a wide range of seafood was to be found on the few plates we had. Price for both food and wine: very reasonable. So if you 're serious about seafood and authentic Italian then go there, if your not (and it 's ok not to be) go there anyway, it 's an experience. If you definately don 't like seafood and rustic (read unpretentious not rough) Italian then go somewhere else, there is good food to be had for everyone in Ascoli Piceno!"

"The name is somewhat odd: one would expect a huge rentral room with scintillating chandeliers. But fortunately, it is not so. Kursaal was given its name by the father of the current owners (two sisters), who worked in Germany. The restaurant is equipped with two intimate rooms. We were seated in the enoteca, which shows a surprising collection of wines, champagne and (sometimes extremely old) spirits. Indeed, wines and their combination with food are Kursaal's specialty. The pairings proposed by one of the owners were excellent, and so was the food. Being in the neighbourhood several times a year, we will certainly come back."

"Gli ingredienti per una cena piacevole, diversa dal solito, ci sono tutti.Stupenda la location dove a farla da padrone sono i bellissimi mattoncini rossi a vista.Si entra subito bella giusta atmosfera considerando anche gli abiti a tema del personale.I sapori dei piatti sono buoni ma, ahimè, non privi di difetti. Sebbene la pizza, bassa e sottile, sia una scelta e quindi apprezzarla o meno è una questione di gusti, più difficile è accettare i tanti pezzi di grasso nella tagliata.Altra cosa che avrebbe dato una marcia in più è avere un della musica di sottofondo, magari a tema, ad accompagnare la cena.Sperando si sia trattato solo di una serata un po’ sfortunata comunque tornerei per provare altri piatti del loro ricchissimo menù."
