"We visited here on the spur of the moment, after several years' gap. The once dark and basic bar has been transformed, and is stylish and light, with beautiful Lessinia stone and old wooden beams. Outside there are tables and umbrellas on the main piazza, with a view of the market and locals' comings and goings. The owners are charming and friendly, and keen to speak English. Several customers were enjoying a drink or coffee. The pizzas are excellent: we had traditional four seasons and Margherita, both with crispy bases and good quality toppings. House wine and coffee were good. The owners have plans to expand the kitchen, allowing them to offer more choice. Velo Veronese is worth a visit for its location in the Lessinia hills, and the Pizzeria Antico Alloggio is a good spot for a drink or a pizza."
