"Encontramos Heids buscando en TripAdvisor. Así que funciona si usted es un negocio. Entramos y rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de que estaba casi lleno. Sin embargo, nos encontraron una mesa rápidamente. El menú estaba bien presentado y rápidamente elegimos el filete estadounidense. Vale ... cada centavo. Todos los Euros. Krystin nos cuidó muy bien y, aunque pedimos un pozo medio y medio con todos los adornos, salsa de pimienta y papas fritas y verduras, llegaron rápidamente. Primero corte ... como cortar mantequilla con un cuchillo tibio. Cada corte ... simplemente suave ... cada bocado ... atrajo a todas las papilas gustativas ... ni una onza de grasa. Simplemente el mejor bistec que hemos comido. Canadá, Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Francia y Escandinavia no se compararon. Felicitaciones a Heids. ¡El filete de Estados Unidos fue magnífico! "when we arrived late in the nearby holiday inn express hotel, this restaurant was suggested by the staff at the reception. a 5-minute walk brought us to this inviting restaurant that had a cheap menu - I had pizza and beer - and a beautiful environment. the waiter was helpful and spoke very good English, as apparently most people in heidelberg, and that eating was of good quality and was promptly served (this also applies to the beer!.) a good sound and I would definitely recommend it."

"The Heid ́s is not located in the centre of Heidelberg, but is easily accessible by foot or by car (parking plate). A reservation is recommended, just if you want to sit outside. We went spontaneously there and were lucky that there was another table free. After a little longer waiting period, we were assigned to this. In addition to the entrance area there is also the counter behind which the chefs prepare the food. That's how it goes. Overall, the restaurant is harmoniously furnished, not fully stuffed with decoration, clean and in the rear area also quieter than in the front. The table was covered with beautiful plaid fabric napkins in which the cutlery was bundled and was held together with a banderole. There was also a lonely candle, but it was not lit (at least at our table). The menu offers many varieties of steaks, salads, fish dishes (from 20,80€ , wood oven pizza (from 8,80€ , some appetizers (from 12€ , children's dishes, pasta and desserts (from 5,20€). Vegetarians do not necessarily come to their expense. The lady from the service was very nice, but we had to wait very long until we could even order drinks. Also the second beverage order went to length after we had posted our empty glasses at the table edge, the service saw this and asked if everything was okay...Also we had to fight for attention to be paid. There were house-baked bread from the wood stove, still warm, wonderfully crispy. “Here you can dip some bread with oil and salt.” We would have liked to have done if we had got oil and salt (as we could see at the neighboring table). The man chose U.S. high rib (400g, 29,80€ on Mediterranean grilled vegetables with cream carrots, pepper sauce, cajunbutter and steakhouse sponges (with these supplements all meat dishes are served, there are still selections of potato purees or Spanish potatoes. The pepper sauce I found very tasty, really good peppery, the man was not so enthusiastic. The vegetable supplements were fine (men and vegetables... . The pommes were, however, very sweetly seasoned and could have been a bit browner. It was nice, however, that they were served separately and so could not pass through what kept the subtle crispy. I chose pink roasted bavette on salads (14,50€). The meat was perfectly fried and incredibly delicate. The salad consisted mainly of red and green leaf salads, a strawberry, two chicorée leaves, some cress and a cherry tomato. But twice as much Vinaigrette as it would have been necessary for the portion. Why I got the garlic dip, I don't know, he didn't fit the meat, and there was no bread for salad. Conclusion: More appearance than being? I don't want to say that either. However, the restaurant already conveys the impression of something “hearted”, which is quite important. However, it should also be noted that the service meets the impression. The prices are not without, for good quality you would like to pay, but then the supplements should also vote if the meat is already delivered in the top condition."

"the restaurant krokodil is a very good one. I was there twice during my stay in heidelberg and was thrilled each time by the excellent quality of eating, the friendliness of the personal and the cozy atmosphere that prevails in the inner. the first time I ate a rumpsteak and the second time a grill plate and both dishes were delicious, very well prepared and presented. You can also drink good wine of various origins. I ordered a glass campo castillo red wine and it was excellent and very tasty. the waitresses are very nice and helpful. you will certainly get the appropriate guide for the most convenient choice on the basis of your own preferences and restrictions. then give them the right service with much care and courtesy. the decoration is very peculiar. it consists mainly of crocodiles to keep with the name of the place step, in different sizes, shapes and colors. also further decorative elements such as a typical German tile stove contribute to the said pleasant atmosphere. the furniture is also very beautiful and elegant. Unfortunately, the music is of poor quality. in any case it is played with low loudness; the disturbance caused thereby is therefore low. the prices are moderate, so you can eat there well and cheaply. in large and whole, as already said, the restaurant is very good and therefore highly recommended."
