Plaza Brasserie - Carta

Stayed at the hotel and used this resturaunt for breakfast , great choice and set in a clean and welcoming environment. Good service all round.

We had minute steak baguettes with salad and twice-cooked chunky chips. Baguettes were removed from the plate, as the meals were so big. Gorgeous!

We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant the staff are warm and friendly and the menu although limited was very good, the choices would suit most people. Ver carta

The meal was well cooked and well presented and the staff were more than helpful, without being intrusive. There was an overall pleasant atmosphere. We will come again.

The brasserie provides a variety of fresh dishes that are reasonably priced. The gammon with a duck egg on top was exceptional, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked with excellent chips.

The restaurant offers both fixed price menus and individual dishes, with a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts to choose from. All the dishes are well-prepared and delicious. Be sure to save room for the sticky toffee pudding if you enjoy it! Ver carta

Too expensive, staff were not attentive when we had a meal here during our stay. Two waiters served us one was dreadful, one almost knew what he was doing and tried to be pleasant. Would prefer food served on plates instead of slate. There was no restaurant atmosphere or ambiance. Did not feel like a restaurant. Was okay for breakfast which was self-service, the cleaner brushing the floor around everyone was unnecessary and off-putting. Disappointing dining experience.

During our three-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant on two occasions. Unfortunately, our experience on the first night was not great. My wife, who follows a Gluten Free diet, was disappointed with the limited menu options available to her. She ended up having to settle for a salmon salad, which was poorly executed. Additionally, the only dessert option was a fruit scone, which was not even available. Our friends and I found our meals to be okay, but we were unimpressed with the overall quality, considering the hotel's standard. I have stopped eating here, its the only downside of an excellent hotel, for instance the breakfast is £11-£15 depending on how you stay and for a orange juice cup of tea and couple of slices of toast its too much, there is no healthy or non cooked option. The evening meals are slow and unfulfilling no wonder whenever I stay which is at least twice a month the restaurant is empty, I had two meal both were poor and I felt hungry afterwards, one included chips, I counted them six and the meal came to £38 for just myself, on the other occasion I had lamb, the two pieces served for £18 approx. were tiny and no flavour, it was supposed to be rump, I think it was a chop trimmed down, it took nearl...
