Really lovely ambience. We had a booth for four people and we were the last to leave the restaurant. No need to rush off. Staff very-friendly and accommodating Ver carta

We really like the Plough and have been going for 30 years. The food is always very good with a good variety of options and always a nice range of tasty starters. Service as always been below par, for the quality of the food and the establishment. The service is good but could be better and more customer focused. We will be back and often.

Good overall, great value for money, service straight forward and pleasant, decor pleasing. Starter and mains impressive in terms of portion and taste. Dessert was massive but a bit bland, additionally and not a big issue but coffee was forgotten at end of meal and was still on the bill at time of paying. Haven’t been here for a while and I was looking forward to seeing if there were any changes, pleased to say it was great . We had booked for the mid afternoon slot so missed the crazy lunch rush and the busy evening time. Pace of service was relaxed but not slow, the food service was quick but not rushed and the food itself was excellent A proper 10/10 experience all round

although there are only 2 vegetarian/vegan options for the net, the vegan brain cake was amazing! it would be nice to see more choice, especially on the daily specialties for not carnivores. because of the lack of choice I would not visit this restaurant regularly. they have a nice starter selection. desserts are fabulous. no one came to check us after our net was delivered. a little mixed bag really.
