"this afternoon for Sunday dinner as a birthday present to the poachers pocket in whickham. two had the beef they said was absolutely beautiful and three of us had the boom. very generous portions with loads of veg and crispy yorkshires. Extra sauces and gravy provided without asking for them. I didn't have to wait very long for eating, then finished with very tasty desserts. the prices are very reasonable and the staff was very friendly and friendly. will definitely go back!"

Had my first meal at the Poachers Pocket last night. Best mixed grill ever, meat was all freshly cooked, juicy and delicious. Starter was beautiful, and chips were lovely. Definitely my new favourite dining pub. Very friendly and welcoming. ????????
