I found the place where it smells and eating was very low. even the picked eggs were cooked properly.

Amazing food and cocktails. Hats off to head chef Ruth and general manager Jay keep up the good work guys!

Menu was very disappointing both in terms of range and the way it was organized. It used to have much more variety and setup.

Much better than expected food and ambience but the service was very hit-or-miss to say the least. At this level of price, we'd expect properly trained staff.

Great spot for Valentine’s dinner! We decided to go with the A La Carte Menu rather than a Set Menu. The Duck and Lamb were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. We skipped the dessert this as we were so full, but definitely coming back! Ver carta

Absolutely great! The food tasted as good as it looked which was quite an achievement seeing as it was beautiful. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Maybe we were lucky as we dined slightly later than usual but we could easily chat without having to shout to be understood or whisper for a modicum of privacy. So overall couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back!!!

Second time I have eaten there and again it was faultless. The staff are so attentive and incredibly inviting without it being too much. We had the Sunday roast. It’s hard to make a Sunday roast stand out but this did. Tatties were amazing. Gravy, red cabbage all the veg delicious. And the lamb.... such incredible flavour and melt in tour mouth. All that rounded off with a draft Aspalls... I had a great Sunday. Obviously.

We had a lovely dinner at Pomona's with the Vegetarian Tasting menu (as shame that we had to ask for it rather than having it on the table at the beginning, along with the other drinks and food menus). Great tasting experience, and for once, vegetarian dishes were all amazing, not an avalanche of cheese and fried stuffs as you can sometimes find in other places. That was proper seasonal vegetables cooked in various and innovative ways. Thanks for the experience! Desserts were amazing as well! And the fake brut Champagne from London was pretty nice as well!
