"The food at Pompoko is delicious and offers a great variety, with plenty of vegan options. The staff is friendly and prices are very affordable. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived in under 10 minutes. For under £10, you can get a main dish and a portion that is satisfyingly fill. A main dish alone can be enough if you're not too hungry, but the flavors are so fantastic that I will definitely be bringing friends and family back to Pompoko. 100% recommended!"

One of their halal option~ Breadcrumbed chicken curry and rice. The food is amazing and the ambience is cute. Don’t forget to withdraw some cash before you go!

Great value for the meal. Place has a ton of reviews so I was pretty excited. The food wasn’t bad and was very nicely priced—but it was ok. Try the ribs! Definitely don’t get your hopes too high. The restaurant is kind of small

This small restaurant is fantastic and very affordable. Each of our three vegetarian main dishes cost only £6. They allow you to bring your own bottle with a corkage fee of £1.50 per person. The only downside is the extra cost for glasses.

Always have the most incredible meals when I go here!! Very affordable japanese style rice bowls and big portions, also you can bring your own drinks which is great. They have so many options like chicken, tofu, pork and beef. Staff is also friendly, it is cash only!! Can't wait to go back :

This restaurant is one of our top choices for lunch! The Teriyaki chicken is absolutely delicious and there's no other place in town that can compare. We highly recommend trying the chicken teriyaki don with extra teriyaki sauce. You'll leave feeling completely satisfied (and maybe even craving it again a few days later). Just remember, they only accept cash payments.

Why are people still complaining that they only take cash? It’s a tiny business and all business get charged a fee by card company’s! Anyway. This store is tiny, but they always have a line out of the door! A sign of good food? YES!! A bowl full of sticky rice, topped with what ever you like (they have a decent size menu) my go to is the chicken nan ban don. Sticky rice topped with crispy fried chicken, lettuce and Japanese Mayo! So tasty!!!
