"good atmosphere, although the thema was a little for the time of the year. in the april of Christmas lights and renting to be surrounded, but I guess the note is in the name has a good evening and we chose the cheese plates that were beautiful, with a good selection of cheese and meat, as well as brot and salat. the live music was a bit average in the evening, we were there, and not very long, but in all, a good evening and a delightful ton was of all. the most important thing for me was that they actually sold boe violet gin, which can be difficult to come, and is a personal fave tipple of me, so definitiw an extra star just for it!"

"Visited the Dog and Crook last night with my family. There were 7 of us and we ranged in age from 14 to 44. The pub was rustic looking which I personally love, upon arrival we were shown to our table and orders were taken for our drinks . The menu wasn’t huge but enough therefor even the fussiest of eaters plus we were given a sheet for specials . The starters were soon out , I had mushroom soup which was really tasty and creamy, maybe could have had a couple more bits of bread! For my main I had Lamb and Rosemary pie, new potatoes and veg with gravy. The pie was completely full of lamb, probably the fullest pie Iv ever had, the potatoes were lovely and soft and the vegetables perfectly cooked . Lastly our pudding I had warm cherry bake well tart with rhubarb and ginger ice cream!!!!! My choice as was different to what I have had before.We did not feel rushed at all with nice gaps between courses so we could all chat to one another. The atmosphere in the dining room was nice and not loud.All in all a fantastic night with family, great food and all at a good price . We will most definitely be back in the future."

"we had a time out of here before it was good, so decided last night to try a seat for our jubilee. we were very impressed. the service is wonderful, eating is incredible. my fiancée had what can only be described as a freche curry from the specials, this should be a greuel, but I tried a bit and it was amazing! the bill came, and it was really reasonable; we will be back! P.s they also spots for mopping the damen floor after I recommended it was really wet slippery (picking like a gast had washed hands and got most water on the floor! ."

Great craft ale pub, huge selection to pick from, lovely quirky decor with what looks like old first class rail carriage seats in the dining area themed gents using barrels for the sinks and urinals, great ambience, friendly staff, live music when we were there on a Thursday. Very dog friend, 4 dogs counted by me, an a bowl of free doggy treats on the bar to hand out. Quite rightly called the best in toen"

"I took my mom and sister for a meal today and I can't blame anything. the pub is well organized to choose many refreshments and the staff was extremely welcoming. the food was absolutely delicious, especially the goodies burger, if there were 10 stars on here, I would give 10.... well made goodies, will come back. the best pub in eastleigh my opinion after. many thanks for a beautiful meal."
