Poppins - Carta

I went out for breakfast with my friend and halfway through my breakfast i was greeted with a hair!! The staff were so unapologetic and uninterested. Now ive been put of for life!!

Visited this establishment many times. Always friendly staff and extremely quick at serving. The inclusive breakfast is great value coming with tea or coffee and 2 slices of toast. They are very accommodating if you wish to change an item of food for another. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

I have been going here for years....I have taken my family to eat here from when they were little and I go here for meals with my family now they have a great food menu and they have the best desserts ... the place is great to take kids and the staff are friendly and the are good place to feed your baby... nice place for families to go and eat Ver carta

The food was more than plentiful, tasty and well-presented. The staff were very pleasant. My 'if ' is that the bottle of still water was icy cold and there was also ice in the glass, I do feel a customer should be given the option of room temperature or cold, and also asked whether they want ice in the glass, particularly given how cold it was on 31st March 2018

This is the first time I’ve been in this Poppins but have eaten in others for many many years Fortunately, this hit the spot. The menu has changed a little bit but I got what I wanted: a tasty beef pie with chips, peas and the optional gravy. Friend had a burger which he said was juicy and tasty. Service was friendly and quick, good for lunch on weekdays Def will be back

These people are not fit for purpose. My partner made a complaint about the food. All he ate was the beans. Poppins has threated to break gdpr by submitting footage of my young family eating. Including two disabled children. I can't wait to see what the ICO feel about this data breach threat. The restaurant is always empty as that's why. The food is appalling a and they threaten their customers. Ver carta

We dropped in quickly as my wife was feeling ill and desperately needed some water and a loo. They were very, very quick to get us some (free) tapwater and a good flat white, and left us alone while my wife recovered. Looking at the other diners, they mainly had very tasty looking breakfasts that are served all day. Was tempted, but my wife would not have appreciated me eating! Will go back for brekkie on another trip. Nice people.

Poppins is dark on entering and the décor is very old fashioned but very clean as are the toilet facilities. Staff are polite, friendly, would talk and answer queries, everyone is clean and well dressed and the kitchen staff are very efficient. We went in for breakfast, nothing really wrong except the standard of sausages, they spoilt a good breakfast. the last item is the size of table seating, you cannot get 4 adults around one of the 4 seater tables to eat in comfort. Would we go again, I do not think so, which is a shame as it has so many good points.

I arrived in Farnborough at 10.15 and found Poppins near the car park. They had a 'full breakfast ' and an inclusive hot drink special advertised outside so I walked in. The decor looks like something from the 60 's and the seats and tables probably from the same era. The staff were friendly and I was welcomed with a smile. My order was taken and the drink and meal was delivered within 5 minutes which was quite amazing. I usually rate breakfast quality by the standard of the sausages. They were cheap and tasted of mush and gristle. Apart from that the rest was ok. The breakfast served its purpose, however it wasn 't memorable so I wouldn 't rush back. Ver carta
