Poppy's - Carta

The food at Poppy's was terrible, and I will never eat there again. The staff completely ignored me when I tried to get their attention. I will not be returning.

Poppy's wasn't what we expected, nicely decorated, light abd with so much on the menu. Absolutely brilliant value, fast services and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

a beautiful little jewel of a place we found a few months ago, just passing through. back here for a holiday in this week and this was the first place where we eat beautiful staff, cleaner place and eat is cooked to home. are generous and very tasty! will be back in this week Ver carta

cant comment on the food got shown to my seat and watched the tables get cleared and cleaned watched the other diners order and eat their food all while i watched and waited i would of shouted over but no body else had to and frankly i didnt want to give them any of my hard earned money maybe it was because i was on a motorcycle wont be back

I originally planned to go somewhere else, but it was closed. I decided to go to Poppy's instead. I was seated immediately and found that their menu had something for everyone, including gluten-free options. I placed my order and was happy with the food. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time and the portions were good, especially for a cafe/restaurant off the main road. I would definitely visit again if I am in the area.

The food at this restaurant looked very appetizing as it came out of the kitchen. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but ultimately went with the fresh fish in batter. It was flaky, creamy, and delicious. All four meals we ordered were enjoyed and we plan on coming back whenever we can. The staff works very hard, so there may be a wait if the restaurant is busy. The prices were good and they offered plenty of tea to wash it all down. Ver carta

a beautiful, clean and comfortable place with friendly and helpful staff. eating is excellent, cooked at home, well presented and there is something that suits every taste, including gluten free menus. are very generous and very valuable for money. I was pleasantly surprised at the glass red wine I had lunch, a very gentle, smooth merlot, very nice in the did. We will eat here again often, as there are many things we want to try and the prices are so reasonable.

Very cheap and and cheerful!... Only my first time here... Two breakfasts and two coffees for £13.10 (over a tenner less than what we usually pay) was a very good 'bargain ' indeed! Although it may be a case of 'you get what you pay for for ' here, it is only my personal opinion because I don 't like greasy fry ups. They do have a big varied selection of snacks, lunches, and meals here, so there is something for everyone if you decide to visit. Coffee was good (americano) Quick to serve. Clean. Friendly. Welcoming. (May go back to try something different and will update when I do).

Called in to poppy's today waited 10 minutes to be seated no one available people waiting to pay we got a table near next to the door girl said I will wipe it as it had used plates on it the wipe never happened I ordered a breakfast wife ordered roast pork dinner my breakfast came .and half way through eating it toast and butter arrived. I tried to take my time to eat it as the wife's dinner had not arrived. I had now finished still no dinner for the wife so asked why .response was be are busy..loads of tables empty more people waiting at the door no one seating people.
