"we came with our summer book, 2for1.The voucher was accepted kindly. it was warm, cozy, and the white fabric tablecloths as well as the whole ambiente had style. We brought an extra card with specialties on a wooden stand that remained on the table, but in the normal menu with the typical Greek dressed, we were fusing. My giros in metaxasauce with Greek kartoffels from the oven was excellent. the zatziki with the self-baked bread very tasty, only the salat in advance should be ordered with vinegar oildressing, then it is also Greek. The elenateller was only satisfying, the pork steak too dry and the leber sehnig. The drinks, duckstein and weinschorle were fresh and of good taste.bot us"

The price-performance ratio is ok.Noteful and nice operation.Should you add new peppers and salt shakers or mills, as our (even after exchange) were defective.

a groupon voucher was accepted only involuntarily. For an alleged value of € 34 there were two small portion gyros and 2 ouzo. the cheekyness without any supplements, pommes or similar are extra calculated.Leider was the credit card a small gift to my parents. Also to guess -nie again!

the Mediterranean/Greek restaurant is more than a Greek restaurant with all its typical Greek dishes. they are good and cheap. that the outside area is under a large tree, must be respected on falling leaves and wood from the tree. even the tables and chairs were only cleaned in a volatile manner when they were in control. the ambiente is very beautiful and the service attentive. Unfortunately, eating only tastes moderate. we had a suflaki and on demand a sweet pan, unfortunately the meat was tough and the sweet pan bored (smallly spiced, few different vegetables and without sauce). overall this restaurant is not recommended, as you can find much better in hamburg.

pleasant atmosphere, courteous service, rather elevated Greek cuisine. the operators/kitchen are probably Indian, so you should like to eat sharply seasoned. I think a starter plate when creeping does not have to drive the welding out of all pores. you don't expect to greek at least. Otherwise there is the good Malamatina...It was Friday night and the food moved from 19:00 to 21:30. the main course was served. excellent and also prepared! gyros crus but not yet burned = also great. we had time and that wait was worth it!In sachen tarama the crew should still practice. that goes much better. The restaurant is located in the city part niendorf, not in eimbsbüttel!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
