Really good pub. Only here for two nights but been on both days. Intend to stay next time. Staff really friendly, hubby said good ale too.

Great hidden gem just off the high street good accommodation,good breakfast, Top owner and staff well worth a visit good base to see Marlow

beautiful people and decent pub-grub, the truffle pizzeria is surprisingly delicious! we also stayed overnight and the complete English breakfast got two thumbs from my wife, with special mention for the sausage!

Only place to visit when navigating the River Thames at Marlow. Friendly publican who always remembers us from previous visits and a strong rugby supporter as well. Although the publican wasn't there on our last trip the staff were equally friendly and welcoming. Perhaps next time we will be able to reaquaint ourselves.

great small pub, really friendly bar staff and renters. has rooms to stay in which for the central mute are reasonable price. amazing selection of spirits (only over 50 gins! pizzas are really delicious. has sky and bt sport on multiscreens that is a bonus if two sports/matches simultaneously. a hidden gem right in front of the marlow high street

Friendly, hospitable, fast service. I went there with my two young children and my father for an outdoors socially distanced birthday get together. It was a very cold evening but they put the patio heater on and offered a foil blanket! The pizza was devoured by my children and Dad whilst I enjoyed a hot mug of tea, as we're the muffins that followed. Thank you.

so good to find a good friendly local pub in marlow. few minutes from the high road and another world. the personal was beautiful and made our stay a real pleasure. they have a good selection of beers from different breweries and a great selection of spirits. the room was very clean and comfortable. the English breakfast was fantastic with many other possibilities if they want it. we are recommended to return to marlow the next time. If you really want to stay friendly and comfortable.

This review is for Carol's Kitchen which is attached to the pub, not the pub itself. Amazingly thoughtful and kind staff! While there is no specific GF menu, staff knows exactly what Celiac is and what is safe and what isn't. I ordered a jacket potato and the very kind waitress knew that packaged pats of butter would be safer for me. A bit later the wonderful cook popped her head out to let me know that her granddaughter has Celiac so she was extra careful with my food. It was so kind and thoughtful of her to do that! These two wonderful women made my day! We were in for lunch, so I am not sure about the dinner menu, but I do know the staff will be amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

So from the pictures or from the outside of the pub it doesn't look like much or like the rooms would be nice. You will be pleasantly surprised. The room I had was spacious with a large wardrobe, dressing table and chair. Plus a lounge chair, nice bed oh and there is a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom was nice, it could maybe do with a more powerful shower head though. Both sets of staff from the evening and the morning were really nice and very helpful. I had one of the pizzas and garlic that they make and sell. It was delicious and it is something I would definitely recommend trying whilst staying there. The room includes breakfast which was also nice. They also cater for vegetarians...
